Demeure de Flore

Our experience at Demeure Flore was exceptional and one of a kind. Fracesco welcomed us warmly and made us the best meal of our trip which we enjoyed in his lovely garden nestled in the French countryside. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean and it was like finding an oasis after a few long days of travel. The only sad thing was we were only able to stay one night. We hope to return some day. Grazie ancora Francesco!!!

Francesco was the best host and his establishment is quite exquisite. Beautiful detail and service that make your stay that little special. The food was amazing and the backdrop of the mountains was lovely.

A beautiful place to stay, operated by an amiable host who is himself a fabulous chef who personally prepares all the gourmet meals. A true five star operation - highly recommended.

We enjoyed a warm welcome, and for our dog. Excellent food in the comfort and surroundings of a grand old Manor house. the gardens were immaculate and finding the hotel was easy. We would stay here again and would recommend the hotel. Good location for seeing the area or for travelling further either to the north (as we were on our homeward journey) or south.

Nice hotel in Lacabarede. The owner, Francesco, is a very welcoming and attentive host. Beautiful settings and décor. Very nice food and breakfast.

This is a beautiful country house hotel which is immaculately presented and very clean. Feels like a show-house, it is so nicely finished. Very nice terrace to rear, lovely small swimming pool, views of the mountains and landscaped gardens. The rooms are clean, our had a very nice bathroom although the bath had a manual shower attachment - no shower. The hotel really disappointed us on several counts; €6 for a glass of coke is a complete joke unless you are staying in central Paris or London at some 5 star hotel. There is no bar, and no mini bar or water in the rooms. The rooms are not air conditioned, which in itself would not be a problem except that when it's hot and you have no drinks available - unless you go to reception and ask - it's not very nice. The cost of drinks aside, the other problem was breakfast. Yoghurt, breads & a drink felt underwhelming given the surroundings and the cost. Not sure what the knife and fork was for - no hot breakfast offered. It felt like they were doing the minimum. With drinks available, a proper breakfast offering and a profit margin on drinks of 100% instead of 500%, and some sense of customer-care this could be a great place. As it stands, this hotel feels like staying in someones nice house and they don't really want you to be there.

Le séjour à l'hôtel s'est très bien passé. Arrivée le dimanche et très bon accueil. La chambre était située dans un environnement très calme. Le repas du dimanche soir nous a également ravi.

Le prix de la chambre est tres surfait !! On s'attend à un lit en 160,et lit minuscule !! La chambre est petite pas de douche mais une baignoire.... Globalement très décevant....

Hotel très agréable, calme et très vert, personnel agréable. Petit hic sur la promiscuité des terrasses des chambres (manque une petite séparation entre celles-ci), et le matelas un peu mou.

Bonne adresse que je recommande. Une note particulière pour le restaurant, nous avons très bien mangé avec des produits locaux et dans une très bonne ambiance. Chambre très convenable.

Charmante vieille maison, agrémentée d'un parc et d'une petite piscine. Excellente cuisine. Accueil très aimable. Une halte reposante lors d'une balade dans le parc du Haut-Languedoc.

Bel endroit, personnel très accueillant et serviable. Nous vous conseillons de vous y restaurer également, les mets y sont délicieux et délicats. Pour faire court, Très bel endroit tenu par de belles personnes.
