Hotel Duminy Vendome

Great location, clean room, good breakfast.

Clean room, comfortable mattress, good acoustic privacy, very kind and attentive staffs.

I choose this hotel based on Reviews and it could not have been further from the truth. The hotel is built to maximise spaces like I’ve never seen before, this comes at the cost of having all rooms next to each other including rooms directly in front of the elevator. This means: - you hear EVERYTHING in EVERYONE’s rooms, conversations , alarm clocks, showers, ringtones, TVs, etc. - the slamming of doors is something absurd that the rooms shake when people come in/out like a Hostel. - the rooms are NOT sound proof at all - you hear the elevator’s door slam as the elevator is quite old. It also has a chime every time it arrives. It’s impossible to have a restful night, impossible. The rooms are also quite basic. No toiletries. Only hand/body soap which is also shampoo. The pillows are horrendous, 20 cms high and stiff. Whoever needs a good neck support is not possible. The rooms have an AC unit for heating/cooling and can get quite noisy. The bathroom is so small to shower you inundate the floors when opening/closing, including over flooding of the shower as the drainage works poorly. This is by no means a 4 star hotel, it’s incredibly precarious in so many ways beyond its premises.

Staff were lovely and welcoming. Room was clean and modern. Felt safe and content with our stay. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Room was clean and good linen. Location is excellent close to restuarants and Louvre and designer shopping and nearest metro Tuileries is like 5 minutes away. Paid breakfast was pretty good to start the day for the price, not expensive like other places.

This a small new clean and comfortable hotel at the prime location. It is also quiet at night and you can open windows if you want to. The service is great. Rooms are not very big (never are in Paris) but they are cozy and have everything you need. The breakfast is tasty. Comfortable and modern, will stay there again.

This Hotel was centrally located close to stores and major attractions we wanted to visit. Staff was really nice - we got there on a rainy day umbrellas were provided during our stay.
