Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes

My husband booked it for Mother’s Day. The stay was absolutely fantastic.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times now and every time I am impressed. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The hotel is stunning and in a great location. I have received a room upgrade on every stay. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped. I cannot wait to go back!

I was amazed by the incredible quality and great taste all around the property. Even the gym was quite good for a hotel. Outstanding location as well. The staff was good but a little too snob at times for my taste but overall incredible experience

The best hotel we have ever stayed.All the staff do an excellent job to keep guests happy.We were offered to upgrade our room.Our 6 year old enjoyed her time at the kids club while we could take our time to go shopping and explore the city.The room always was well cleaned.The food and drinks in the restaurant were amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Majestic Barriere. This 5 star hotel exceeded our expectations. Would not stay anywhere else in Cannes. It was perfection.

Considered to be one of the best hotels on the Riviera, I was so looking forward to spending two nights here. In the end it’s not in the same league as the Carlton or the Martinez. Check in was efficient and we get to check in early which we are very grateful for. Room was small but functional and the quality of finish, bedding, towels, robes etc was excellent. All downhill from there. €55 for two nights parking, lunch was not good, a prawn salad had six prawns on top, no wait for it, it’s three prawns cut length ways in half and placed length ways to make it look like there are six. To make things worse the dressing was béarnaise sauce as they had no Máire Rose sauce. Arrived back from dinner at the excellent La Môme restaurant at 11:10pm and the staff was closing up the bar, if we wanted a drink we had to use our mini bar or order room service. You have to go through reception and people dining and having cocktails to get to the swimming pool which we were told was now closed due to the rain. The big problem was getting our room serviced on day two. Went for breakfast, room not serviced, went to town, room not serviced. Rang guest services and we agreed a time of 3pm. Came back at 6 pm to get ready for dinner, room not serviced. We had to go onto the hallway and find towels in a cupboard. Came back that night, room not serviced. Next morning the reason given was the electronic device on our room was not working to indicate the room needed to be serviced. I understand

A good little hotel with stunning views just steps away from the ski lift. Make sure to get one of the renovated rooms on the 2nd floor.

In fact I recieved an upgrade but I am sure they could do much better

The check in/check out staff are inexperienced. Check in/out takes a very long time plus they charged me twice for the same stay on my credit card. I had to write so öany emails back and forth hotel/credit card company. Very tiring and time consuming

This a fabulous hotel! The staff, food and location are the best in Cannes. My room was a haven of luxury. This is a must if you want a luxury hotel in Cannes.

took them a while to put us in an acceptable room; all staff were extremely helpful, especially valet parking; big business group came the second day and blocked all the exits

This was a pristine property with great service and top quality rooms and bedding. Ideally located for a walk along the beach before departing. Received a free upgrade to a sea view room.

Le Majestic is a classic in Cannes. VIP amenity included a room upgrade to a higher floor with a better view and 2 free drinks. Fouquet restaurant was excellent for lunch. The concierge booked us offsite at La Mome which was delicious and fun.

Great staff support. Very low key atmosphere but highly professional treatment.

Impressive lobby, valet parking, one of the best central locations. Very professional and friendly service. Lots of well dressed guests! Great swimming pool area, the perfect place to unwind. Breakfast service was excellent, coffee, champagne, good options from cooked to fruits We have found our favourite hotel in Cannes
