Fantastic location! Perfect for exploring. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the rooms were clean. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return!

The property is in a wonderful location, facing the sea. The historic building is beautifully maintained inside and in the front garden. Our bed was very comfortable and everything was extremely clean. Our only concern was that we found the shower a bit slippery underfoot. The bathroom was modern and updated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This hotel has a lot of charm in the prime of Nice. The rooms were very comfortable, and it was surprisingly big to be in Europe and the age of the building. The view was excellent. The only challenge was the parking. You must park in a public parking lot in the casino next door; there is no street parking.

We were very lucky to have had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Le Royal for 2 nights in April. First impressions are as all reviews had said, it is a charming, clean and relaxed hotel, with beautiful decor and wonderful staff. Our seaview room was a real treat and we almost did not want to leave it to go out! The floor space was amazing and so very comfortable.
We enjoyed having breakfast on the small terrace, a continental selection and a limited hot choice of eggs, bacon/sausage.
The location of Le Royal could not be better with everything is on the doorstep easily within walking distance.
The friendly staff were always smiling and happy to help in anyway.
We would happily recommend Le Royal and hope to return here ourselves one day soon.

The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. It was updated, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sipping champagne on the terrace, which was big enough for 2 people to lay out and soak up the sun. The buffet breakfast was very good, and we topped off the night with champagne at the bar,We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location is perfect! Across the street from the Promenade. Walking distance to everything. The hotel lacks charm. Extremely outdated from the old dusty green furniture to the cracking paint. The rooms are dark and devoid of any color or warmth. The walls were a bland flesh in color. I has the opportunity to offer a quaint boutique vibe.. a fresh coat of soft sunset Mediterranean colors to warm the space would be welcomed. The staff (all 2 of them) were friendly but not helpful. The art out front (a gigantic sculptured chicken and a pair of legs with lips) totally lost any curb appeal. Would not recommend if you are looking for anything you may have seen in their advertisement.

Le Royal was absolute perfection for our stay in Nice! We enjoyed our terrace and being on the Promenade. The room was large and comfortable, as well as the bath. Aline @ front desk was exceptional, even getting us a fan for the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Nice. It was beautiful, quiet, very comfortable, and a wonderful location.

Beautiful location, old school charm. Quiet hotel, but outside can be loud if you have windows open. Hotel cannot control that, it is part of the price of being on the main coastal street. Great view. If arriving at night, hotel 15 from Nice airport. 15 min walk to old town Nice. Numerous bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.
