ibis Arcachon La Teste

Appreciated being able to rent a bike to ride to nearby Dune du Pilat and the town of Arcachon. Additionally, the on-site restaurant had good food and friendly service.

It's an ibis hotel so pretty standard chain. Location just of main ring road but fairly quiet. Didn't get to use the pool but looked OK. Room was fine but the hairdryer is the old fashioned one that just blows hot air at one temperature and one speed. The concertina handle gets hot if you use it for a while. Breakfast was OK, was hoping for cooked food but the only things hot are the self-service eggs for boiling where the timers don't work that well and the water really isn't hot enough to cook them. My husband ended up with a runny white! The rest of the continental selection is fine though. Selection of bikes for hire, but not the weather for us.

The staff was very helpful, specially Lucy. She provided the necessary information for all local tourist attractions and places to eat at and the places to avoid. Very friendly. Definitely a place to go back too. The Laguna beach and restaurant is a most. Dune du plat is fantastic.

Nice Hotel although a long way out, we hired bikes from the Hotel one day which was fun (10 Euros each) Nice Pool lovely and cold on a Hot Day.

Not the greatest breakfast, poor considering the price

Couldn't fault the hotel, was the best Ibis that I have stayed at. Despite being near a fairly busy dual carriageway, it was quiet. The bed was so comfortable it gave us a solid nights sleep. Bedroom and bathroom were impeccable. parking was spacious and shady, Restaurant service excellent. I had booked at very short notice to attend a family funeral. Hope to return in happier circumstances.

Very good hotel and did not feel like an ibis. Quiet location though you would need a car. Comfortable beds and good size room. Very friendly staff. Nice pool and grounds. Secure parking.

Simple but friendly, clean hotel. The food was very good in the restaurant and the bar staff friendly.

We returned to the hotel after staying there last year and this time we were disappointed. There were a lot of small things wrong in the room, not very well maintained and the service at the front desk was not good. The entrance was scruffy and a small thing, the garden needed weeding, it just looks bad. We wanted a drink at the bar on the Saturday afternoon and despite being told by a colleague that we were waiting, the receptionist ignored us completely. And when we checked out, we were asked to wait because the -apparent - franchise owner was unable to deal with the growing queue. We shalln't be going back.

Rooms are basic but clean. Reception was helpful. Restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices.

Very clean and comfortable. Good base to vist Arcachon area . We are staying again as we enjoyed the hotel.

It is what it is, an IBIS, but this was is in very good order, everything works, air conditioning - very necessary when we were there - worked . Shower, excellent, even the liquid soap they provided. The price thro Expedia was 22euros cheaper than posted on the price list and they were full. Breakfast for 9euros was French but OK, lots of it and in a nice enviroment. drinks available in the evening and a good restaurant, we didn't use it in the evening, but it looked good. Reception Staff spoke English with no issue, helped with taxis, not a common item in La Teste or Archacon. You can do a lot worse, perhaps 6 kilometres from the coast is a bit much for those with kids, parking near the beach is manic and impossible. I'd go back, handy for the racecourse.

The room was clean and tidy. Maid service was good.The corner shower pod was nicely equipped, however it smelled rather unpleasant, which we reported to reception on our departure. On site restaurant has a very nice buffet breakfast which was reasonably priced, but the evening restaurant meal which we had from the set menu was skimpy to say the least. The choice of 'legumes' was minimal and was used up simply by the jacket potato or french fries. A reasonably located out of town hotel but nowhere for an evening promenade. Ample free parking and good access to all areas from just beside the main road.

Check the room you book for smoking or non smoking, and the bed situation. I booked twin and got a double smoking and they would not change it.

J’ai passé un week-end absolument super l’accueil nickel La Petite, mascotte, cachou, trop chou le restaurant le Service nickel, tout était bien, je peux vous dire un truc c’est que je vais y revenir et je le recommande fortement

Bon accueil, handicapé tous les deux moi sous oxygène et mon épouse hémiplégique, installation de l'appareil respiratoire en place avant notre arrivée, chambre bien équipée pour notre handicap, petit déjeuner copieux, restaurant sympathique avec choix. Je recommande pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

Accueil chaleureux chambre confortable cadre sympa. Bravo ça fait plaisir
