Novotel Paris Porte de Versailles

The room was spacious and clean, and the property was right next to the conference center. The breakfast offered as a part of the stay was just about OK. However, the staff was phenomenal - they were friendly and helpful……..

Great place to stay for first timers in Paris! My husband and I loved the location, close to other restaurants and bars and near transit station. Free breakfast is good too!! The best fresh squeezed juices ever !!

The room was very clean and welcoming. The room was very good smelling and the hallway had a very, very pleasing and welcoming smell. It smelled very fresh. The staff were very professional in checking us in and very efficient and very very professional. It’s a very family, friendly hotel and our room was extremely clean upon check-in and housekeeping is every day and done really well. If I had to rate this hotel, I would rate it 10 stars.

Doesnt worth the money

The room was clean and nice. When we arrived, the front desk attendant stated we only had a reservation for 2 adults. The reservation was booked for 2 adults and 2 children. When l explained to the attendant that it was booked for 4 people, they said that they weren’t able to verify this and that there was no rooms available that night. When the attendant was asked how this issue was going to be resolved, they were very uncaring and unhelpful. Finally they asked for my confirmation. When we went to our room, it was made up and ready for 2 adults and 2 children. Their attitude and unhelpful was not customer friendly.

This staff is most accommodating and everything was convenient to the location. I will definitely make my next day in Paris at this establishment.

The room was relatively clean however the restaurant and the breakfast areas were filthy!!! The old decor look covers up the true cleanliness of these areas and the hotel generally. I booked a room with 2 twin beds for 1 night and paid £400 5 nights before my stay. I was given a single room with 2 single beds joined together??????

Overall, the hotel is clean and the beds are small ,but it's just to come back and sleep. The whole day you should be out exploring Paris and eating different food. Slippers, hair caps, and extra amendities you need to ask if you want them not given to you when you walk into the room. This hotel is a farther away from the city and there is a lot of walking you book this hotel. I recommend a hotel near the city more so its easier to travel back and forth to drop off stuff. This hotel is 30 minutes -45 min away from Paris city. The area around the hotel is not bad ,but not the greatest. Lots of gyro types of restaurants. I believe it is people from Turkey type of people

Great location with easy access to the metro. Very clean rooms! Great food options. Pillows need some more fluffiness. Overall, it was a solid hotel.

First impression was negative since we had no help with our luggage (dragged from street), and the front desk lady spoke English poorly. We had booked a suite hoping that if I snored the sofa bed would give some space. But the "pull-out bed" was a chair pull-out that was almost touching the bed, so it would not only be no help but was in the way. The suite had more square footage than a standard room, but was laid out very poorly. We immediately asked to change to a standard room (mainly because my wife uses a cane, and the suite was a VERY long walk to the very end of the hall). We changed to a standard room, but the hotel refused to credit us with the price difference. Other negatives: Nothing in mini-bar; Our bathroom was cramped and a bad layout; Only instant coffee in the room; The roof-top terrace was only open for breakfast & dinner (with reservation); They closed the restaurant one evening (for an event) with no notice to guests; The bar times were very limited, and the bartenders could not make many standard drinks (e.g. Martini); The neighborhood around was lousy. We got in an elevator one day to almost step on large shards of glass from a broken wine glass on the floor. When we told the front desk they said "Oh we know, and intend to clean it"! But the elevator was still in operation! OK, there was one positive: the breakfast was excellent. Other Novotel hotels (e.g. Barcelona) have been much better. This hotel seems to only serve the convention nearby.

Great staffs friendly, welcoming and professional. Room is very clean and comfortable. The area is close to the metro, walkable streets.
