We are client of the Hibiscus Louis for many years and for us it is the best hôtel in Libreville at this price. If you look for a hotel with the taste of Gabon you can not find better than the this one.

Hotel Hibiscus à Libreville, Gabon, est un bijou ! Niché près des bars et restaurants populaires dans les quartiers Louis et Bord de Mer, c'est super pratique pour les livraisons de nourriture et les taxis. Tout le monde sait où c'est ! La piscine est géniale, bien que les week-ends puissent devenir un peu animés avec les enfants qui éclaboussent.
L'hôtel pourrait vraiment utiliser plus d'ascenseurs (il n'y en a qu'un !) et une mise à jour des télévisions dans les chambres ; quelques rénovations cosmétiques ne feraient pas de mal non plus. Mais ce qui rend cet endroit spécial, c'est le personnel. Du concierge sympathique à l'équipe de nettoyage dévouée et aux voituriers, ils font vraiment tout pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Un clin d'œil au responsable de la comptabilité de nuit, aussi. ils ont été incroyablement utiles lors de mes visites. C’est cette ambiance chaleureuse et accueillante qui me fait revenir !

Hôtel Hibiscus Louis in Libreville is a gem nestled around popular bars and restaurants, making it easy to explore the vibrant Louis, Bord de Mer, and 3 Quartiers areas. Its convenient location means food deliveries and transportation are a breeze, which takes the stress out of getting around.
While the pool is fantastic, weekends can get a bit crowded with kids. typical for city pools! The hotel could benefit from more elevators (they only have one) and some tech updates, especially the TVs in the rooms. A little cosmetic renovation wouldn't hurt either to freshen things up.
However, what truly stands out are the staff. From the concierge to the cleaning team and valet, everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The night accounting manager (le commercial) has been especially helpful, and their dedication is a big reason I keep returning. Overall, it’s the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff that makes Hôtel Hibiscus feel like home.

It was terrible, the first room I checked-in was smelling, the second one I moved in the water heater was not working. I have use another room to take my shower in the morning. I had to complain repeatedly before the fix it

The hotel is ok but needs improvement. No lift for guests staying 4-5 floors and have to climb stairs. Air conditioning was not good for the junior suite booked. Only one unit for the whole bedroom and sitting room. Bathroom was terrible, no leg space to sit on the toilet seat. Shower holder was broken. The management can do better. The staff are great.

The internet is unreliable, slow and borderline useless. There are no microwaves on site unless you book one of the overpriced suites, which is not worth the money. Additionally, there are no washer/dryer facilities on site, so you may have difficulty getting your dirty clothes cleaned. Some of the staff members seem unhelpful when it comes to providing basic necessities. The location is excellent, and while some staff are fantastic, others could improve their performance and attitude.

My brief stay at Hibiscus was pleasant. The staff were friendly, the restaurant had delicious drinks and the room was well cooled and prepared on my late evening arrival. Free airport transportation is a major bonus and the photos don’t do the hotel justice. Even though this is not a large or brand name hotel such as Radisson, my experience here was much better than Radisson in LBV from a previous stay.

Great, comfortable and hospitable hotel with free shuttle. Main (only) disadvantage was loud music in the bar/club till early morning hours - approximately till 3 a.m. Hotel rooms are not fully sound proof, regrettably.

Great hotel, and very helpful staff led by Marjorie and Lean. Lean came to my rescue at the airport on my arrival first day. No problem too big for Hibiscus Louis to solve. Annick, Arnold, Jibbi, Beranger, Priscilla were all magnificent hosts. Just one unfortunate blimp halfway through my stay involved me waking up late at night to find a stranger in my room 'replacing my bath towels' - It was a very strange and frightening moment which was never explained till I left. Apart from this, a near perfect ten night stay. Will definitely return.

The restaurant had a good variety for breakfast.
The bathroom shower had an issue with drainage. I asked to be changed to another room but the reception staff were reluctant. They told me I could shift the next day. Next day when I raised the issu, I was informed that all the rooms were booked. I aked for the shower to be fixed, but nothing was done until I left
