Arkona Strandhotel

A great room, helpfull staff and a great location. As close to the beach as you can get and i have always been lucky with the weather. Lots of local restraurants for variety.

The location is nice, close to the beach. There is a band playing at the ground floor sometimes in the evening till 10 pm. The breakfast and dinner buffet was good. The pool is smaller than thought.,but very nice, usually full of kids playing there. The bed is very disappointing, very uncomfortable : there were two single mattresses on a double bed. The bedsheet was not changed during our stay at all as there was a chocolate stain on it.

Great location close to promenade and beach. Rest lousy ie property condition, staff, customer services and noise level. Not a 4 star property as advertised. A cash cow being milked. Noisy bar keep us awake two nights to 2 am despite numerous complaints to police and front desk. No one seemed to care. DDR Deluxe. Needs massive reno and staff overhaul. Tour bus quality for Berlin seniors. Lousy if one expects a 4-5 star hotel: dirty carpets, slow elevators, peeking paint, missing key cards on check in, room not ready at 3 pm, no towels replaced even those on floor, uncaring staff

I rarely write hotel reviews as almost always my experience is what I expect. However this was so bad I am writing my first review for a hotel on here after using this website for years. The biggest problem was the cleanliness, my room looked like it was cleaned 3 weeks before I arrived and wasn't touched until I walked in. Spider webs and dust were in every corner, and of course spiders were everywhere. I stopped counting after I removed the 10th spider from my room. They were coming, mostly, from the patio door, which was left open on arrival, as there were spiders on the patio so if you have any issues with spiders don't come here. There is no AC so if you don't leave the patio door open then the room is hot so its either hot room with few/no spiders or cool room with spiders. I also had towels and sheets with stains, really noticeable stains that if anyone took the time to verify if they were fully cleaned they would not have used them. Finally my last major issue was I did not get the room I paid for. My booking was listed for a room with a french patio and ocean view. I instead got a room with a full patio and a highly obstructed ocean view. Walking around I saw the rooms with the french patio that would have had a much better ocean view than my room which was stuck behind a row of trees blocking the ocean view. This place's only good traits were the breakfast and location, if you stay here be prepared to pay a lot of money for only those two positive things.

We had a family suite with a balcony. The view over the ocean was wonderful, but it was on the first floor right above a smoker's tent (there is no smoking in the hotel proper). On the first night there was some event in the restaurant, maybe a wedding, and the guests went out to the smokers' tent to smoke, drink and shout until 2 in the morning. We had to close the windows for the poisonous fumes and the noise, though there was no A/C on a summer's night. Is it not obvious that a family suite should not be right above a smokers' tent?!

Great location but the hotel is very dated and the service is "old east Germany". We enjoyed the location on the beach, but were disappointed that this fairly expensive 4 star hotel was not up to expectations. Checking was borderline unfriendly and no information about the hotel or facilities were given until asked specifically about each thing, like wheres is the pool, when is breakfast etc. The room was on the bottom floor facing the parking lot. It was extremely hot with the windows facing south. No AC. Wifi intermittent and very slow when it did work. The room was in need of some TLC. The bathroom was out of soap. The breakfast buffet was very nice. However I was lectured (in German, which I speak)) by one of the personnel for not cutting the cheese correctly ( I could only find a fork, but there was a knife in a water container, that I was supposed to use). The lecture contained word like: How awful this was for other customers to see cheese cut like this. Overall this is a hotel I would not come back to.

Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal im Hotel Arkona in Binz und wieder sehr zufrieden. Wir empfehlen das Hotel immer gern weiter.

Gutes Hotel an Strandpromenade. Das Bad war renoviert, das Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Saunabereich ist gut. Nicht zu empfehlen ist das Buffet Abends. Lauwarm, Durchschnittl. Qualität.

Hotel mit direkter Strandlage. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Leider wies mein Zimmer einige Mängel auf

Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich könnten jedoch mal ein Upgrade bekommen. Optisch schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich

Die Größe des Balkons ist eine Frechheit, steht 1 Stuhl für 2 Personen drauf, Trennwand zum Nachbarzimmer fehlte. Möbel sind teils veraltet.

Das Hotel lebt hauptsächlich von der Tatsache, dass es in der ersten Reihe direkt an der Promenade steht. Der CheckIn klappte problemlos, die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich (Willkommens-Schild an der Zimmertür). Bademantel, Strandtücher & Wohlfühlpuschen lagen schon bereit. Die Zimmerausstattung ist gut, der (französische) Balkon ziemlich klein - 2 Stühle drauf & voll. Die Anordnung im Bad ist allerdings etwas eigenwillig. Wegen dem wandbreiten Spiegel befindet sich die Duschstange weit entfernt vom Wasserhahn auf der anderen Seite der Badewanne, der Duschschlauch ist nicht lang genug. Die Duschwand hätte man besser vorn und nach beiden Seiten öffnend anbringen sollen. So geht beim Duschen Wasser daneben und es tropft unweigerlich auf die Fliesen. Beim Duschen kann man sich im Spiegel beobachten - das muss man mögen. Das Personal ist freundlich und kümmert sich. Die Sauberkeit in den öffentlichen Bereichen ist befriedigend. Der Teppich im Flur hat verständlicherweise Gebrauchsspuren, jedoch kann man losen Schmutz durchaus beseitigen (vor der Zimmertür lag eine halbe Erdnuss...) Die Tischdecke im Frühstücksraum hatte nicht übersehbare ältere Flecken und wurde nicht ausgetauscht (ich saß beim zweiten Frühstück am gleichen Tisch). Beim Frühstück gab es alles, was man für den Start in den Tag braucht. Die Skybar bietet einen herrlichen Blick in den Nachthimmel. Fazit:Der Zimmerpreis orientiert sich an der Lage und verknüpft Erwartungen, die leider nicht komplett erfüllt werden.

Es war einfach schön und wir werden wieder kommen. Die Matratzen war sehr weich aber das empfindet jeder anders , deswegen gibt für uns keinen punkt abzug. Das Frühstück war reichlich und für jeden was dabei .

Super Wellnessbereich, Zimmer und Service war ok. Frühstück war ebenfalls ok, leider sehr überlaufen. Beim Abendessen war kein Platz verfügbar, wenn nicht Halbpension gebucht wurde.

Eines 4 Sterne Hotels nicht würdig.

Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein neuer Teppich und neue Farbe an den Wänden, könnte nicht schaden. Trotzdem war es sauber und es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Wir hatten Meerblick gebucht und auch bekommen. Frühstück war inbegriffen und auch das war sehr gut. Große Auswahl, frisches Obst und Gemüse. Für jeden etwas dabei.

Hotellet är stort och som de flesta hotell i Binz, lite slitet. Vi fick ingen parkering när vi kom för det var fullt. Vi fick åka och parkera på allmän parkering. Dag 2 och framåt fick jag parkering i deras garage. Frukost var överlag bra med många alternativ, b.la. kock som gjorde omelett, stekta ägg mm. Mycket var gott men som en del andra stora hotell så snålar de med juicen och serverar nån billig odrickbar vätska. Bra spa-avdelning med många bastualternativ. Hotellet ligger precis vid strandpromenaden och därmed nära en massa restauranger. Hotellet har en uteservering vid lunch till tidig kväll med korv och nybakta bröd med fyllning, en tak-bar en vanlig bar och en strandbar med livemusik vissa kvällar. Överlag var det trevligt. Personalen var trevlig. Speciellt hon som hjälpte till med parkering dag 2 och hon som gav en chokladbit när vi checkade ut lite efter tiden.

Am ersten Tag war das Personal am Empfang etwas unfreundlich. Das Abendessen am 1. Tag entsprach nicht dem Anspruch an diese Hotel
