Very nice hotel, great, friendly staff with beautiful restaurant below that opens to a pedestrian only street. Great place for a glass of wine at the end on the day or cup of espresso the next morning! Only down side was that it is hard to find, especially if not from the area.

This is an old building without an elevator and a long and dangerous staircase. The building is not air conditioned; only the bedrooms are. The shower handle was broken and the shoewer booth was too small.

We stayed in the annexe building, which is around the corner from the hotel. There are no clear signs in English, so without the help of a friendly local shopkeeper, we would have struggled (hint, get a small multi language sign to help guests!). Annexe and Hotel are in walking streets, making arriving by car difficult. Annexe is an older Byzantine Building I believe, quite grand. Only a small dumb waiter style lift for luggage, so guests take the stairs. Rooms are spacious, but the bathrooms are poorly utilized, containing a clunky large sink unit, toilet squeezed into a corner, and the worlds worst designed hotel shower that can only described as a leaking Doctor Who tardis that was so small, you could not change your mind in it. Breakfast was ok if not poor. Can't say this was a favorite, though Patra itself is a surprisingly cosmopolitan Greek city with great bars and food.

When I arrived the check in was in a different building with a different hotel name which was very confusing. The room was lovely and in a great location but the lights & air conditioner wouldn't turn off. I had to turn power completely off by removing key, but then I couldn't charge phone overnight.

The website does not explain that there are 2 buildings of the hotel at the different streets. My taxi driver helped me to find the main building with reception where I should check in. But hotel is very nice, clean and well kept. The rooms are very comfortable with a byzantine flair and decor. Location is great with plenty of restaurants around and stores. Right at the street where is hotel was “concert” of some band and I enjoyed it. And because of night life and the busy street not all rooms are quiet. So, I asked for room on the back side of hotel and I got it. It was very quiet. I definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends.

The Hotel is located in a party part of the town Patra right on the square and very close to the port. Parking for your car is extra however very inexpensive. You need a GPS to find the hotel as the area is very congested and is high in auto and pedestrian traffic . The website does not explain that you must walk to the Byzantine hotel to check in which is only 50 Meters away but inconvenient if you do not know this. You also take your meals at the Byzantine. Bathroom is tiny! The Greek Community allows smoking everywhere including in all restaurants even though against the law ...a bummer for non smokers. All personnel friendly and courteous and multilingual. Great location for walking around the City Center!

We arrived in Patras on the overnight ferry from Venice and went straight to our hotel. What a wonderful experience awaited us. The hotel is an old mansion that has been renovated and redecorated in its original style. Fresco's on the walls, a huge bed with cherubs painted on the wall above, a fire place with candles set in it, a view of the mall below. Even a dumb waiter to take our cases upstairs. Disadvantages were no lift and no staff based in this hotel building. The hotel is managed by the Byzntium Hotel across the street and meals, etc are there. We felt as though we were living in another age and in our own private residence.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Great room with good breakfast. Only information that would be helpful to other travellers is that the reception to this hotel is actually based around the corner about 20 metres away.
