This property was beautiful. The resort upkeep was amazing. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The staff cleaned the rooms daily. There was a mini fridge with drinks and a coffee maker. The fridge was restocked daily. The only complaint was the maid service didn't always replenish the coffee, towels and other items. They were very helpful if you asked for additonal items but the maid staff didn't always have the items on hand. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. They handle your luggage when you arrive and take you on a golf cart to your room as the rooms were separate from the main lobby. They also would drive you around the facility if needed during the stay. We were able to store our luggage at check out and use the facility until we had to leave for our flight. That included drinks and food which was great since we had a late flight. The food was good. We ate at the Italian & French restaurants. The Italian restaurant was right in the beach and had a beautiful view. The buffet had a ton of options. There was several bars on the property. During busy times they could have used more workers to make drinks. There was a cafe with coffee, ice cream, and other items. There were events and shows which were pretty good. The pool and beach were great. The hotel is insanely close to the airport. There isn't many things in walking distance. Cabs could take you to the town but not super cheap. They took US dollars. Overall we loved it and plan to go back.

Property is spacious (not on top of each other), staff is very friendly, beach is clean with plenty of seating. Things that were less than ideal: Long walk from room to beach up/down tons of stairs and no pool.

I like the outside of the property. The grounds were well maintained. Jamie and Lindon went beyond the call of duty to make our stay pleasant. They were also friendly, respectful and professional. Royalton is very lucky to have them as part of their team. The team members who drove the buggy were also very pleasant. Akim was my favorite. He was always polite. However, the check in was a disaster. This process is very inefficient. Also, not being able to obtain a pool towel at 7:30 in the morning when the pool opens at 7:00 is not acceptable. How does a resort run out of pool towels? There needs to be a way where these towels are distributed fairly. One person should not be allowed to take 5 towels while others have none. This is an amazing property it they are some things that need to be fixed.

Royalton Grenada will test your patience/resolve to have a good vacation. In my opinion the resort staff is burnt out. Probably from the lack of support from management. When we ask to speak with the Manager to help resolve our concerns, the manager refused to speak with us. The Resort only stepped up, after I sent a msg to Expedia. On our 3rd day Royalton reached out. By this time we had spent more time at the Front Desk than anywhere else. Also The Resort is App heavy, which would be helpful if the Apps actually worked. The lack of initiative to solve our problems was so eye opening, going forward we will not choose to spend our money at any Marriott branded properties. Edit: After 10 dats at this resort my opinion hasn’t improved much. When you arrive to the wrong room and the resorts drops the ball with your anniversary dinner, My confidence in Royalton was lost, so I really couldn’t relax as much as I needed.

It was hit and miss. The hotel had good days but then there were bad ones. I just believe maybe Americans are used to a level of service (especially from a Bonvoy) property that they just didn’t deliver. I went with a friend who was there a couple days longer than I. My last day I developed food sickness (hint: skip Taj, the “Indian” restaurant) so I stayed an extra day in his room. The hotel would not let me just be sick but harassed me to come to the front desk, said I “had” to see their doctor. I’ve been to over 70 countries, I’ve had food sickness a few times so while I was miserable I knew within a day I’d be ok. But it was there you MUST then I finally made it to the desk and they said it was “my choice” what?!? They also checked him out as well. Getting them to correct that was a test in patience. The drinks were plentiful. The food was general resort/cruise ship fare always best to hit them early as it was left out. property relatively clean. May or may not return. Not at top of my list, nor at the bottom. Notes: Be careful in the water. There is a crazy drop off where my 6 ft tall friend was walking and water barely hit his calves and the next step he disappeared into ocean with no warning. He didn’t even see the drop. However, we both made it back and with great tans. Pro tip:the restaurant off property walking on beach “The Aquarium” absolutely DELICIOUS. I went three times while there. And if you have to take a taxi -Marv is amazing.

Overall stay 4/10 property is nice… way to much stairs need to get an elevator . Very short safe, out of stock of many food items , some of the chefs has bad attitude won’t be staying there again!

This property is beautiful but the entire experience was horrible. What a waste of time and money. Terrible Staff- impossible to get a drink, no staff can make a simple drink, the only choice for room service is burger and fries, have to wait for days just to get a towel and toilet paper. Have to wait for hours for staff to offer a drink or nothing at all. Rude staff. Limited choices of food and drinks- food are recycled/repeat throughout the week, drinks are watered down, food are under seasoned or no taste at all, breads are weeks old and hard as rock. Italian restaurant food and services was horrible - food (fake calamari with plastic on it and frozen meat balls), almost an hour just to get watered down soda. French restaurant have thee or four options for food items. Will not recommend this place if you are looking for a good vacation.

The staff were generally helpful however David from the lobby area was particularly helpful. I requested a steamer from day one but had to appeal to David on day 3 to get one. There is an issue with house cleaning as some days you are left without towels and no coffee in the room. The mini bar was never replenished and only the second day was the bottle water replenished. A major issue is the late opening of the coffee shop. 7 am is too late and at 7 there is a long line waiting. This is further compounded but only one person manning the shop...at times it was easier to just wait on the buffet to open. Management should consider placing auto 24/7 coffee machines strategically located about the resort. Just think about something in bld 20 looking for coffee and the distance to trek.

Swim out rooms were lovely as per usual and we had a very relaxing stay. There were a few observations. We were given a survey at the end of our stay which I think is super important because there is always room for improvement. This was my fourth time staying at the diamond club and I noticed that 1. The pool was very very cold this time of the year that we didn’t spend much time in. The swim out pools get less sun than the others so that may also play a role 2. The bedding on the balconies were mildewed, once again likely due to the cold and lack of sun. We used extra towels to cover them whilst outside. 3. The variety of food in the diamond club lounge was not as varied as before. Before there was salmon, chicken, other white fish, pork this time around it was white fish and chicken, lots more pastries. Even breakfast options weren’t as good. Before I never felt like I needed to go to the buffet. 4. The have a new and upgraded coffee machine. Very tasty lattes. 5. New diamond club gifts in rooms. We got a hotel scents room freshener and a diamond club tote bag! I also think the in room fridge was more stocked but uncertain. 6. The request for a king bed and a happy birthday on the door, that I made at reservation weren’t honored BUT the pool was bigger in this room and our butler Chantel made sure to put the birthday sign, and have confetti at our dinner reservation The staff is still super helpful, super polite, and the minor issues did not impact our stay significantly.

Resort location it’s right by the beautiful beach , it feels like is not over crowded and peaceful. My only concern was buffet during the dinner time where the food was questionable.Much better quality at French and Indian restaurants.
