Enjoyed my stay! The room was spacious, clean, closed to the station, and the employees were nice. Every time I entered the hotel, someone would always open the door which was super sweet.

Close to MTR subway, bus to airport, dining places, shopping along Nathan Road, close to Temple Street night market. I don't like the tiny sink in the bathroom. It's close to impossible to spit without getting your spit on the floor because the shelf above the sink blocks you from leaning forward into the sink! Other than that, all is fine. Very small room, but that's Hong Kong. It's clean!

I recently stayed at The Cityview Hotel – Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong for two nights. I’ve actually stayed at this hotel many times before, including a nearly month-long stay at the end of the COVID period. The familiarity and convenience of the location have always been the main reasons I return.
While the hotel still maintains a modern appearance on the surface, it’s clear that the last major renovation was over a decade ago. The rooms are beginning to show signs of age. In this recent stay, I noticed black mold along the edges of the shower in the bathroom, which really needs more regular maintenance. The bathroom sink was unusually small and positioned in a way that made it awkward to use—leaning over it was not comfortable.
The bed was also quite firm, which might not suit travelers who prefer a softer mattress. A mattress upgrade or even an option for softer bedding would go a long way in improving comfort.
That said, these issues are relatively minor and didn’t outweigh the benefits of staying here, particularly the excellent location, which is very convenient for getting around the city.
Overall, while I would definitely stay here again for the location, if I had other similar-class hotel options available, I would consider paying a bit more for a newer or more recently renovated property.

Nice affordable property close to Metro Line 1 (Green Line): Qiaocheng East Station / Exit A, then walk to Engping Road for about 15mins before arriving at the hotel entrance. The rooms are comfortable. Good amenities. Havent tried breakfast - will do in the morning - but you can expect a good chinese breakfast.

Very convenient location (half a block from MRT), a 5 minute walk to Airport bus, friendly staffs. We stayed in a double room, 4 x twin bed suite. Room was spacious and comfortable. Definitely come back again.

Excellent, convenient location. On top of Yau Ma Tei MTR station, which is interchange for 2 major subway lines and 1 station from the third. One block from Nathan Road, the key north-south corridor in Kowloon.
Relatively quiet in urban center. Large room (for Premier Plus, by Hong Kong standard) with great view on high floors.
Tons of shopping and dining options within walking distance.
Helpful and courteous staff. Good in-house dining options.

Excellent location for everything from public transportation to local attractions. While the room is small, it's expected for any highly densed urban cities like Hong Kong. The only downside was the tap water is not drinkable so you would need to buy bottled water or wait in the long line at lobby for filtered water machine.
