Great place for the price!

It’s in a good location with easy access to the metro about 3 minutes walk. The room was clean and quite spacious. The only negatives is that the single beds were very small, it was noisy and there were no blackout curtains so had a lot of light through the window. Otherwise it was not too bad for 3 nights.

The washroom was so small.

Great place for a short break in Budapest! All the basics are there and its quiet and clean.

A very good stay, I probably wouldn’t recommend the breakfast but other than that excellent all around.

You could literally hear a person fart in the hallway, you will be woken up by people walking every morning. Their walls are made of paper.

Dean’s Home Budapest was an overall good experience. Visiting from U.S., we were hotel patrons (not students - as this can second as student housing, I think). We stayed over Xmas & left just prior to New Year’s. Sadly, all businesses in the area were closed 12/25 &12/26 (holiday) & Sundays. There were 2 convenience stores, Spar & Penny, next door to the hotel which, would have been fantastic if they were open thru the holiday. (Not the hotel’s fault of course). We ate DAILY at Crazy Dean’s restaurant (part of hotel). This restaurant alone made our stay worth it! The buffet style food was delicious, reasonably priced, & staff was pleasant. (Cost: 11€/day or pay in advance for 9€). For us, with so many businesses closed, this was open & wonderful to have access to for breakfast. Our room: A good price for the holiday stay. Not sure if we got a room meant for student housing, but the main room was quite small& up steep stairs was a tiny loft w/ a 2nd bed (which we never used). The main bed was literally wall to wall (as pictured on their site), leaving just enuf room for luggage. The room contained refrigerator, electric water pot, & hairdryer. Small closet & shelf for shoes, which saved space. The room was very clean overall, and the bed EXTREMELY comfortable (also making our stay pleasant)! Amenities: Gym was well kept & clean (we loved it!) & the small laundromat was very convenient. Hotel is also close to a subway station (just a short walk). Overall: Recommended

Extraordinario Hotel. Cocina, nevera y microondas. Muy bien comunicado. Amplias salas sociales. Lavandería automática. Desayuno. 2 supermercados a 20 metros del hotel.

Rooms are geared at students. Location great. No TV. Had to ask for a kettle. Has a kitchenette, but no kitchen towels to dry dishes.

Great stay for one night

In a great location, right by the metro which made getting around Budapest so easy! The room itself was so cool with the stairs up to another bed and we were so grateful for the fridge and kettle! It was nice and quiet every night, no issues. We used our hotel towels at the thermal spa, they did not dry quickly so I asked at reception and they gave me fresh towels no problem. Lovely staff, great location, great price.

Close to subway.Good price . Friendly staff.There are 3 supermarkets downstairs which is very convenience.

Very cute hotel. Looks like its mostly cater too students but it was clean and safe. Also had small little kitchen which would be helpful
