We had a family studio, which was pretty big for 3 of us. We appreciated the laundry and kitchenette. Good blackout curtains and sliding door. Didn’t like being by the street even though it’s a pretty quiet town. Convenient to be across the street from Lava cafe

The apartment was very comfortable and in a great location. It was so convenient to have the grocery store and some restaurants right across the street. The unit is modern and clean. Check in and out was a breeze. The only thing I would request would be a few more kitchen pantry items like cooking oils. There was also no toaster in the unit. Other than those little things, the stay was excellent.

No microwave. Windows frosted except for the top 25% - good for privacy, bad for view and claustrophobics. Couldn’t figure out how to use the stove since no instructions and symbols were unfamiliar to this widely travelled guest. Nice staff

We absolutely loved our stay here and honestly didn’t want to leave. The apartment was spotless, modern, and much more spacious than we expected.
One pleasant surprise was the layout. The listing mentioned two bedrooms, but I somehow came away thinking it was one bedroom with a pull-out couch. It actually has two true bedrooms and plenty of space—we easily fit our group, and I think it could comfortably accommodate up to six people.
The location couldn’t be better. It’s right in the heart of Vík and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and everything the town has to offer, making it an incredibly convenient home base for exploring the area.
The only thing worth noting is that check-in is handled through a mobile app rather than direct communication with the host. It took me a minute to figure that out, and I wasn’t able to contact the host directly. That said, we received access earlier than expected, which allowed us to drop our bags off before check-in and start exploring sooner—a nice bonus that we really appreciated.
If we’re ever back in Vík, this will be the first place we look to book again.

Almost perfect. My only somewhat significant complaint was the hot water supply. We were a group of three, and each person took a fairly quick shower of about five minutes. By the time the third person showered, the hot water had already run out. The staff told us we needed to wait 15–20 minutes for the water heater to recover. The hot water capacity seemed surprisingly small, especially given that the accommodation (we stayed in the "two bedroom apartment") is intended for multiple guests.

Very clean and convenient location. Good base for touring south and east of Iceland.
A very nice surprise to have a reasonable supply of dishwasher tablets, laundry powder and tea and coffee. Other items are available from just across the road.
Decent size pots and pans, plenty of glasses, mugs plates etc. A tin opener would have been helpful - I'm thinking someone might have accidentally taken it, as everything else was present.
Would stay again.

Lovely apartment with 2 rooms (4 beds) and clean interior. Also there was a washer/dryer inside the bathroom, didn't expect that. Location is great since there were few restaurants and Kronan and N1 gas across the street. Loved it and will highly recommend.
