080 TRANSIT HOTEL T-1

First off, I tried booking this hotel room directly through their website. After filling out all the details and picking a room, it tells me “International credit cards are not accepted”. AYFKM??? How does an International airport with a transit hotel not accept that?? Luckily I saw it listed on Expedia, so got the room via them. Anyway, I got to the room, exhausted and ready to take a shower and cool off in the air-conditioning. Well, first off, they assigned me an accessible room with an accessible shower. I asked why and she explained it’s automatic via the system. Strange, but ok. Since all other 10 rooms were occupied, I just decided to stay put, crank up the A/C (it was very hot and humid) and then head to shower. The a/c wasn’t doing anything. Not cooling, no fan, not even coming on. But the control panel was alive! I complained multiple times and every time they promised me it will be fixed in 10min, and “they are working on it”, the fact of the matter is, nobody was doing anything, they were just making excuses. I took a quick shower, then kept the front door open to get some circulation, and checked out of this pathetic place they call a hotel. Instead of some sleep and spending 6 hours, I was there for less than 2, most of it sweating while waiting to see if anybody is doing any fixing. PS - I took a bottled water from the minibar to help cool off a bit. They were quick to remind me to pay for that. How about refund for no a/c and shorter stay? Pathetic
