No Swimming pool

During our stay we enjoyed the services provided by the hotel. All the staff were very humble,welcoming and polite. We also went to the spa and we enjoyed the services over there. Rini and Levis from spa gave us an excellent treatment of massage therapy. We would highly recommend this hotel and spa for our family and friends. Thank you.

I booked this hotel solely because of the photos of the relaxing pool area and so much needed r&r at the end of two weeks in India. I was never made aware at time of booking - false advertising on Hotels.com as well by not stating the pool is closed and there is massive construction going on. Upon check-in, also no mention of pool closure. Front desk clerk only addressed my husband, not me, even though my name was on the booking. She even came back saying to him, “I can’t find your booking sir” even though I handed passports with mine on top and open saying “the reservation's in my name”. She just if ignored me. I had to redirect her again; obviously she found the booking. She then offered my husband a paid upgrade without even making eye contact with me. The whole encounter was sexist and frustrating. Because I booked and paid externally, she refused to take a credit card for incidentals and said we must pay directly after any food/service and emptied our mini bar. We are now hit with multiple charges for foreign transactions vs paying one bill at the end. We were looking for the pool our next day and went into the spa to ask. The lady was confused and informed us of the closure/construction. We were obviously disappointed as were weren’t aware. We booked massages instead. They were ok but my lady answered a phone call half way through and left (unprofessional). Lastly, room needs maintenance. Bathtub shows layers peeling off, too poor to use. Do not recommend

Comfortable stay, staffs were courteous and professional.

Lovely sized room with good amenities. Staff answered all questions I asked and provided a 4am car service to the airport as needed. Would’ve liked pool service, but good overall.

Great hotel in Chennai that is reasonably priced with excellent service

2 nd stay here flight canceled due to cyclone good value and comfort so chose to return. Only issue shower cold and telephone did not work . Went out to dinner all fixed. @hout out to Vijay bellman,super helpfull and And always a beautiful smile.

Chaotic Chennai Protery is nice good rooms spacious Good treakfast Gennerally good service Disliked i was there for 5 nights they asked me to change rooms after the first night which no one explained .On the road for 6 weeks so its an inconvenience

The staff were amazing, every query of ours was completed with speed and efficiency. The breakfast options were excellent - no words to describe the selection and the taste! I want to appreciate the chef who made sure that on our last day of our stay, we got to eat Poli ( a food item) since we said that their prepation was excellent. Rishi the front desk was awesome in every which way. All in all, we have decided that when we come to Chennai we are only staying at Hyatt Regency. In short Hyatt Regency has a client for life :)
