We stayed at the end of the year over the new year. Some sort of party was to be expected, however, there was the disco-type of the party on the field across the hotel. Without the noise cancelation earbuds, it was simply impossible to fall asleep. And my body seemed agitated due to the noise coming from there. This is a five star luxury hotel 5-10 minutes from the airport. (A shuttle taxi costs 700rps).
Great dinner buffet - highly recommended and worth the splurge. Very nice staff. Faultless really. Only good as an airport location hotel - it's too far from the old city or fort to use it as a base. Unless you need 2 or 3 days break from India. In that case, stay here and you'll think you're on another planet. Very, very nice.
