I liked the way staff treats the guests staying with the hotel. They have a genuine smile and warmth, even the GM was very down to earth and spent time with us in our room telling us about city and general about the hotel.

Great facility, and friendly staff. Pls check to make sure the room and sheets have been cleaned from the previous stay. I checked in to a room where the trash can was not emptied and the comforter sheet felt slept it and not fresh. I am okay to conserve and be eco friendly and not change sheets or trash cans if I am staying multiple days but not when I check in. House keeping head apologized and it seemed a genuine oversight but was an unexpected experience from a Taj brand.

Visit was overall decent at Taj Tirupathi. However, I am disappointed with the Staff and service provided. I had requested a change in reservation after check in (requesting early check out). A manager on property advised me to reach out to third party website and asked them to share an email to Taj reservations requesting the change. I was clearly told that this email is required prior to approval of the change. I have reached out to Expedia a few times and emails were shared with the hotel. >36 hrs before my early checkout. Hotel team denied receiving emails until the night before. I did not have clarity on my request until the morning of checkout during when I called reservation team despite multiple calls. Reservations team told me that my request was approved and that within 10 mins I can check out and I will not be charged for early check out. Interestingly, when I requested check out, I was told that my request was not approved by another manager "per rules and policies". There has been significant discrepancy in the communication within the managerial staff. If I was told appropriate information at my initial request, I would not have wasted additional time on my business trip.
