Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin

This was a great place to stay for St Patrick's Day!!! Great continental breakfast! They have a restaurant and bar! Great staff 🍀

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The staff was very polite & professional. The room was clean & adequate for our needs. We just stayed one night but would definitely stay here again. The free breakfast Buffett had a lot of great food options & everything was well prepared. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is more of a three star than four. The lobby is fine but the rooms are bare with laminate floors. It’s pretty much the farthest thing from luxurious as you can get. For the cost of what we paid during St Patrick’s weekend I was so wishing I had booked another more pleasant hotel. The hallways also have the plastic laminate flooring so they are very loud, you can hear every guest walking by and other room doors closing. It was pretty miserable and I will never stay there again.

Wonderful hotel in an excellent location! Walk to everything yet not right next to the bars. Room was clean and spacious. Delicious buffet breakfast included with lots of extras! Only drawback was loud people coming in at all hours of the night. Not the hotel’s fault but maybe a reminder to guests to be sensitive to their neighbors.

Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Choice of breakfast was excellent. Great nearby live music in Murrays bar and great food in madisons bar

We booked this hotel 8 months ago only to arrive and be told there were no rooms available! We were then taken to a hotel around the corner which was no comparison to the quality. Absolutely disgusted with how they treat customers and will definitely not be using Expedia again.

The staff were excellent, but the issue is very clear for me. Service protocol was not in the interest of the customer. I burned my hand on a faulty room kettle. The steam came out of the handle. I have videos and photos and friends are in agreement. It cost me my sleep & the issue was not resolved with me. They were focused on replacing the kettle and not finding resolution to the heavy negative impact it has on my stay. Offered a burn gel & at one point they "couldn't even see a fault' and questioned how i even lift a kettle! It was demeaning & outrageous. I loved the staff at Reception and (most of the Breakfast staff (supervisor couldn't be less empathetic when i reported the issue with tears on my cheeks) Location great and breakfast very good. but i dont think i could return. Zero closure for me.

This is a wonderful hotel. The only thing I would like to see change is the amenities in the room. I would like a wash cloth and maybe a shower cap.

We had to wait as check m-in was not until 3pm and the room wasn’t ready. We had an early start at 4am to transfer from Venice to Ireland. We understood so we ate lunch ina nearby establishment, walked around and just when back to the hotel until the room was ready. They were nice to offer if we want our bags to be brought to our rooms but I was puzzled when they said the directions to where the rooms was as it is on the 6th floor. So we have to take the elevator to the 5th floor, get off the elevator the walk right then “take another set of stairs” and that’s where i the rooms was. A heads up would’ve been nice during reservation process or check in as I was traveling with my mom, we had two check-ins and I was also traveling with my mom. At the end of the day I would not would want to have to climb a set of stairs to get to my room. I would not have chosen this hotel if the room I chose mentioned this particular detail. Don’t get me wrong the room was great. Though unfortunately for a balcony room, the balcony was not accessible. Another mishap to be found out when I got in the room. Another quirk of mine is that better handling with the customer, I appreciate the greetings but when I just got out of the hotel to get something and I come back, I got asked if I’m staying in the hotel. It just shows lack of attention to detail as there were multiple people in the door. I didn’t appreciate that.

This hotel was a total charm in the centre of Dublin, will definitely be back. Breakfast was incredible and near to everything.

The hotel is stunning and kept to extremely high standard, very clean and modern decor. All the staff we met extremely professional welcoming and never left waiting. Those we met at doors of hotel, reception, in corridors and at breakfast were extremely helpful and courteous. We will defintely recommend this hotel for guests to Dublin, location very central and good access to public transport.

This place was wonderful! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Dublin. It was very centrally located and several tours meet right outside the hotel. It is near many restaurants and walkable to public transportation. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were very accommodating. I will definitely be staying here if i visit again.

Staff are amazing so helpful, and the breakfast was amazing they also cooked my partner who is celiac a separate breakfast so had no contamination. Would definitely go back and could not highly recommend enough
