We were sent over to their sister hotel because of renovations and was delightfully surprised with the staff food and all around service. San Giovanni Palace Hotel was an excellent experience and recommend. The staff at front desk are amazing people

The staff at the Ariae Hotel are fantastic! They are attentive and dedicated to ensuring travelers have a enjoyable stay at the hotel. We had a couple of requests which the front desk staff went above and beyond to fulfill. I did not eat dinner at the restaurant, but the breakfast was good w / a variety of items which should appeal to various tastes.I didn't encounter any hot food items - typical European breakfast items fruit, pastry, cheese, etc. San Giovanni Rotondo is a small town and most visitors are there to see the Padre Pio shrine which is w/in short walking distance up a slightly steep hill. The rooms are clean and generally spacious, except the bathroom. Overall, a great hotel w/ a great staff. I will definitely stay there again when I return to SGR.

Dirty bathroom, worn-out furniture, absolutely not pet-friendly, out in the nowhere, no (nice) outside seating, nearly worst Italian food (rare in Italy!), very pricey for such a bad experience- never again!

Location of the hotel is very good since it’s only a walking distance to the church of Padre Pio. It is clean and well maintained. Breakfast is good although it is the same variety everyday. The lady who is in charge of the buffet is very helpful and friendly. She always have a welcoming smile while inquiring what hot beverages we would like along with our breakfast. The lady in the reception was also very helpful especially when we inquire about setting the safe in our room, she immediately visited us and offered help.

Top rate and clean hotel. Highly recommend. Have to walk up a bit of a hill to get to the Church, but it is worth the walk.

Very modern and decorated nicely. All the necessities is available. Towel warmers is definitely a plus. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable.
And you could walk to the Church of Saint Pio which is nice.

Very nice Hotel. Love my balcony overlookong the town and mountains .super nice staff we arrived very late at night and woke kind of late next day and they patienly waited for us till we finished our breakfast we also had dinner here at night time Very Good beatiful restaurant
