Hotel Indigo Florence by IHG

We loved the beautiful whimsical design of our room. The bar was really nice and we enjoyed the live music very much.

We loved our stay at this hotel, during our long Italy vacation we stayed here twice. I was so happy to finish my trip at this hotel. It was the cherry on the top of my Italy vacation. The staff at this hotel is by far the best I have ever met and I want to thank them for being so wonderful. The chef is amazing, his food is delicious as well as a work of art. The hotel is very clean very modern and extremely stylish as soon as you enter the lobby you get a beautiful scent and they offer delicious water with fruit in it as soon as you walk in from a long day of walking around in Florence. You can also enjoy a cocktail at their beautiful chic bar or you can hang out in their awesome lobby area. Ladies, the toiletries in the bathroom are very high-quality. You will not need to bring shampoo, body wash, conditioner, or body lotion. Their products are absolutely top-notch. No other hotel in Italy offered even mid-level toiletries, which is important because it’s one less thing we need to pack in our suitcases.

This is a gorgeous hotel with many modern touches. The rooms are beautiful. The hotel lobby is gorgeous. The restaurant is amazing and the bar as well. The food is a culinary experience, my compliments to the chef everything there was amazing. The staff is so sweet and thoughtful. They brought up a bottle of champagne since I was celebrating my honeymoon. Everyone there is very helpful and kind after staying in two other hotels around Tuscany I was so excited to come back for my second day at this hotel in Florence. It felt like home away from home. Also the products inside of the bathroom are top-notch. The shampoo , conditioner, body wash, and body lotion are so moisturizing. I absolutely loved them! I couldn’t wait to get back to this hotel after a terrible stay at a hotel in Tuscany.

We had a beautiful room which was very spacious. The hotel was immaculate. The decor is upscale and fresh.

Hotel was awesome we would definitely stay again. Slightly off the beaten path but we liked that. Only complaint was some stains on sheets.

One night stay in between trips, great location - service at late night check in was slow and not as attentive but better at check out.

overall it was a good stay, however, due to us being in the first floor, the music was very loud from the bar downstairs. It ends around 1:30am, which is unfortunate for those that are not partying in the bar…

The staff at check in were amazing , very thoughtful and understanding. It was my Birthday yesterday and I had a breakfast cake and Happy Birthday sang to me then upon returning from our day out , I received a bottle of fizz and lovely displayed chocolates. Amazing Hotel with wonderful staff. Thank You

I look forward to visiting Florence again and definitely will not consider booking a room at this property again due to this terrible experience. The room was disappointing in so many ways. While many rooms and bathrooms were renovated at this property, not all of them were. Unfortunately, I was in a room that was not updated. Cleanliness was a problem in the bathroom; it was not well cleaned or maintained. Many tiles were cracked and broken. There was pink mildew throughout in the shower and the only outlet in the bathroom was non-functioning. Despite using an outlet adapter, the other outlets in the room were loose and the hair dryer repeatedly fell out of the socket. Worst of all, water was shut off during the last day of my stay without notice from the staff. I returned for an afternoon nap and discovered this when I turned on the faucet to see low water pressure and murky orange-brown water slowly flowing out. (No, I wasn't able to take a shower. Fortunately, I was moving onto another hotel the next day for the next part of my trip!) Another room was never offered nor made available throughout my stay. I was in the same room the entire time (4 nights) and housekeeping didn't address the cleanliness issues. While the hotel may be busy with a conference being held onsite during that time, that doesn't excuse the poor experience. The property was crowded and noisy, and this created a chaotic atmosphere, not a calming or relaxing experience for a vacation.

Outlet in bathroom was not functional

Big standard hotel, near the main station, good amenities and restaurants, cafes nearby. Breakfast is very good. The gentleman Maitre de at breakfast is fantastic and provides great service

8 minutes walk from the train station. Clean room, comfy bed. There’s a wash and dry launderette 6 minutes walk from hotel with delivery service. If you get a bottle of wine, need to head down to the bar to open the bottle and get wine glass on your own.
