Very good location. 5min walk to Kaminarimon Gate. Housekeeping on the 8th floor was wonderful. Friendly and attentive. Room was exceptionally clean.I forgot my coat in the room at check out and front desk contacted me right away. Great employees.

Excellent room and service of the hotels I stayed at during my trip it was the best. Only critique is the central air could make the room a bit too warm but this was something shared among all my hotels in Japan.

Overall good experience. Unfortunately, they only have one register so there is a lot of traffic especially during check-in. Very small room very small bathroom. I am a small person and I thought it was tight. I cannot imagine a heaviest person staying in that room.

Great location with so many dining options nearby. The walk from the station to the hotel was not too far and you see the front gate of Sensoji Temple. Go for a run or walk along the nearby Sumida River in the morning for an amazing start to the day.

I had a great experience staying here—it’s a wonderful place at a nice price! The only thing I would suggest is the pillows; they’re a bit on the harder side and not very soft. Other than that, it’s a fantastic value! The staff were excellent and very friendly.

Room is way too hot! We went in December and they have heater on and we can’t change it to AC. Room was 26C (78.8F) on the first night, we couldn’t turn on just fan because it started blowing hot air. Had to leave the door open for a long time so the cool air from the hallway can cool our room. Room was TINY but we already knew that. Only good thing about it is it’s close to the temple area. Would tell my friends and family to avoid APA in the future because it was so uncomfortable during our whole stay.

Kaminari-mon Gate is right at the corner. 711, family mart very close by, metro station is close too. Room is decent. Staff werw very helpful. Easy check out. Overall, excellent hotel.

Hotel is no frills however offers excellent location, proximity to activities, convenience stores, transportation and great walking area for me. Nearby laundromat with big machines is a plus. Staff were responsive to my inquiries and consistently polite.

Just down the road from the station and Kaminari-mon. Room 718 has a view of the other APA hotel so you get that… “Where am I? Who am I?” experience just by looking out the window.

Great location, excellent hotel. First time in Japan on a 3 night stopover on our way home. Recommend Asakusa as a location. Plenty to see within walking distance of hotel. APA hoteal are plentiful, 2 more within a couple of hundred meters of our one. Room very comfortable. Toiletries, robes etc supplied daily.

Good budget place to stay in Asakusa, very close to everything. Rooms are really small but this is Tokyo. Did not try breakfast, but there are plenty of options outside. Minutes to Subway stations, modern facilities, friendly staff.
