I like staying here, the location is strategic, the surrounding scenery is also nice, close to Otsuka station, close to mini market, many places to eat around. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have stayed here twice when I went to Tokyo.

The location is very strategic, near Otsuka Station, near Lawson, near Family Mart, etc. The room is spacious enough for me, the room is very clean, the service is very friendly. Great experience!

the everything about the area was good, the only thing that shocked me was that it was an uphill walk to get to the hotel, maybe about 3 blocks which isnt bad but if u got more then 1 heavy luggage its gonna be a pain to get there

Second time at this hotel because it’s a great location and you get all the basic necessities for a comfortable trip. Would be nice if there were irons provided in the hotel rooms rather than just the trouser presses on each floor.

Having stayed at multiple APA hotels in Tokyo this one had the smallest room, even though booked a superior room. It’s barely enough room for one person and a luggage bag. We are two slim built travellers with two suitcases and two backpacks and it was a shitshow trying to open the bags within inside the room! It should not have been sold as a room for 2. I would recommend booking the double twin room as those appear slightly more spacious. AVOID staying on the 20th floor as it’s the floor with the onsen, vending machine, and the laundry which sees 24/7 traffic (ear plugs are absolutely needed). We tried asking for a room on a different floor but apparently the hotel was totally sold out, all 20 floors.
As always staff is otherwise excellent and friendly.

Pros - very clean room & tv has good selection of entertainment, good wifi, safe walking distance to restaurants, grocery, bakeries & cafe.
Cons - standard room very tight for 2 people compared to other hotels, only found 4 coin washer dryers on top floor which always had long waits,

We stayed here for 4 nights. It was a good stay. The rooms were clean and bright, however quite small, but that is average for Tokyo. I did find the bed a bit hard, but overall, comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is smoking section just outside around the corner of the main entrance. The onsen was also very nice but be aware that it is a public bath NOT a swimming pool. There will be nudity so if that’s something you are not comfortable with, be advised.
The location was excellent. Plenty of local food options and shopping not too far away and It’s only about a 3 minute walk to a major train line which made traveling around the city easy and convenient. Would stay again.

Very clean place with helpful, dedicated and friendly staff. Extremely convenient location as it's 2-3 minutes walk to Otsuka station on the Yamanote line. Ale necessary amenities in the room and top floor with onsen, washing machine, microwave, vending machine etc. Room was spotless, same for the restroom. Area around is really quiet but saturated with restaurants, izakaya's, shops, malls and convince stores. Walkable distance to Ikebukuro. Great stay. I will happily choose APA hotel for my next trip. Thank you.

Excellent location, met all my requirements. Beautiful walk areas, plentiful convenience stores and food choices. Both the Front Desk and Housekeeping staff were helpful, polite, professional, non-intrusive. The hotel has basic washers and dryers however I found heavy duty coin options nearby. Thank you.
