The view from the hotel of the Wakayama castle is stunning, especially at night, when the castle is lit up! Walking the castle park in the morning was wonderful. Parking was in a building next door, 1000¥/day with easy in and out privileges, and lots of parking.
I am a big fan of Daiwa Roynet, having stayed at 4 different locations this year—good locations, great staff, clean and well designed rooms. 👍

I would say the location is the buffer between big city and native town for city grower like me. The hotel is clean and staff are so friendly, you will find it very comfortable to stay.
