Would def rate this place high. Onsen is good, breakfast is ok, not superb, but still ok. Rooms are small but dont feel like a shoebox. Staff struggles with English but honestly enough to communicate

Great location for shopping in Akihabara, conveniently placed on the Ginza line - easy access to Ginza, Asakusa and Ueno. Amazing facilities - onsen, morning and evening treats and free ramen from 9:30.

This nice hotel is a convenient walk to Akihabara. The only negative was that the bath house is not tattoo friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Buffet breakfast, baths, room cleaning,evening ramen, location were all very good. Limited English tv options, maybe none. No drawer space for clothes. But would stay here again. Reserve early for the larger rooms.

Amazing place. Night time Ramen snack, free public bath with free/all you can eat ice cream after the bath. Excellent front staff.
Strongly recommend this place. Very close to Subway stations and only 2 stops to Tokyo station.

Great location right next to all the liveliness of Akihabara. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant the first two days and its very delicious! If you opt to not get breakfast at the hotel and would rather do a grab and go type meal, 7-11 is right next to the hotel amd othe Konbinis are within a 5 minute walk, Starbucks as well. 24 hour Don Quixote is a less than 10 minute walk. Very convenient and easy access to get to different train lines. Given that information, know that you will hear trains passing by while in your room. The onsen is nice after a full day of exploring. The ramen is definitely worth staying up for! Love staying at Dormy Inn hotels and this one didnt disappoint!

Everything about this place was nice. Friendly staff, clean room, easy check in and check out. There was a Seven-Eleven right next door and Akihabara is only a short walk away.

Fantastic location, the free onsen and ice cream were exactly what we needed after a long day exploring.
The staff kindly provided tattoo covering stickers.
Overall it ended up being our favorite hotel during our trip in Japan.

This is our second time stating in a Dormy Inn hotel. This location is conveniently located right next to Akihabara if you want to be in the mix. Very convenient and easy access to the trains so you can explore other areas of Tokyo. There is a 7-11 right downstairs of the hotel if you need to grab a snack or whatever you're craving. Alot of other convenient stores walkable in the area within 5 minutes. Don Quixote is a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was very good and delicious! If you need a late night snack, the free ramen that starts at 930 is awesome (free beer as well if you drink beer). The onsen was very nice and a great way to finish the day full of adventures on our feet. Dormy Inn has set the standards for our hotel stays in Japan and now our kids wont have our stays any other way, always has to be Dormy!

Dormy Inns are my go-to brand of business hotels in Japan. This Kanda location checks all the marks of a good business hotel. Staff are friendly and the facilities are clean and well maintained. This review is based on a trip during the winter and the rooms can get stuffy overnight since they are running heat in the hallways. My only complaint is probably the lack of microves and vending machines on each floor which made it a chore to get things like ice or hear up food easily.

Great place to stay, first time visiting Japan. Staff spoke English, good sized room, clean. 7-11 just down stairs, very convenient to get snacks and everything. There’s a 24/7 Japanese chain restaurant with decent and cheap food across the street. Walk a bit further, 5 min, you’ll get to a busy streets in Akihabara with lots of activity including dining, shopping, gaming etc. From hotel, walk another direction for 7min also many restaurants. The public bath experience 12F was uniqu, my kids and I liked it. Freebies were also appreciated. Train stations also are close enough, no complaints. Only slight problem was taxi to and from airport was bit expensive, depending on the traffic, but it was most convenient. They do hold luggage same day you check out.

Best hotel chain in Japan. Equipped with sauna and onsen which makes the stay even better! Be careful with the buffet as it will likely fill you up for the rest of your day, making it impossible to enjoy the great food Japan has to offer. Very convenient walk to Tokyo Metro (subway) and JR Line stations.
