We ended up staying here for a snowboarding trip and the customer service was welcoming and exceptionally helpful!
A good location being a walk away from the main bus terminal and centre of the village. Our room was near the road so got a bit noisy with drunks at night/morning but the walk to the ski field was only 10 mins away so it was also very convenient.
The hotel just requires a facelift...

Nice enough place, very good positioning, simple room, very nice reception staff, breakfast staff so-so - they don't seem to want you to stay beyond 30mins, breakfast was good though.

Schi Heil is fairly basic standard small Japanese room. Uber clean and conveniently located but nothing special. English spoken and very helpful staff. Can book a taxi/tour bus in the lobby...in fact the Nozawa Liner bus is run out of this place.
