Hotel Keihan Sapporo

Hotel located centrally near restaurants and transportation. Front staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean, bed is comfortable but can be a little warm. Negative would be that it's located next to the train lines. Although windows are double glazed you would need earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Twin room was small and AC was too hot and I couldnt switch it off so lucky I could open the window to the -7c outside! Location was about 10 min walk from main rail station. Also about 25 min walk from Odori park and Suskino areas. Could barely fit one suitcase in the room, and that was only by putting it on the desk and restong it on chair edge.

Really good breakfast. Good variety of rooms, worked for us.

Good transport connection

Room was bigger and more spacious than expected, and having a small public bath in the hotel was a great surprise. Great location too.

Very happy staying. Staffs very happy and polite. Bathroom clean and well stocked. Hot bath was good. Very happy for the price.

Everything is good except it takes a bit of walking (~8 mins) to the nearest train station entrance. The pathway to the station could be challenging during winter time as the pathway was covered with ice. The room was clean the staff was extremely friendly and helpful !!!

The hotel is good and comfortable. First day we arrived, Google map detoured us around the block, but later we found out there is a shortcut walkway with rubber mats (for the luggage) to Sapporo JR. Overall good stay.

Brekkie was really nice. Much nicer than toyoko inn's brekkie offering.

Hotel was clean but walls scratched from luggage. Convenient to JR rail station and shopping center. Good value for price.

We booked rooms at this hotel primarily for the location - its proximity to Sapporo Station, as well as rental car return. In that aspect, it did not disappoint. In addition, the staff helped by providing instructions about how to access the station, which is affected by ongoing construction. Overall, the staff were very helpful throughout: check-in was a breeze; the cleaning staff were responsive, the wait staff at breakfast were kind. One cautionary comment, however. The rooms are very small relative to the number of beds packed into them. We reserved two rooms for three guests. We ended up with a total of five twin beds, two of which took up space that could have been put to better use. The limited space remaining is occupied by a large desk and chairs. If you need space, say to put your luggage or to access the closets, I recommend that you upgrade to larger rooms. However, overall we found the hotel very comfortable and convenient. And I recommend it to other travelers passing through Sapporo.

We stayed for 2 nights. Booked a 3 bedder. We are used to the cramp space. It was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the onsen facility. It is near the south exit of the underground mall or the JR train station.
