Excellent hotel in a great location. It’s on a busy road. Something like 5th ave in NY. But it’s near the Geisha area and Pinto - Cho Alley.

The hotel was great. The staff was helpful and professional, and the additional accommodations like laundry were very helpful on our long trip. Breakfast was consistently good and offered plenty of Japanese and Western options.
Though we did not have issue with it, the beds may be a bit hard for some. We also had some noisy nights with the hotel being in downtown Kyoto, but were able to use earplugs to sleep through it.

This property was nearly perfect. Great location near shopping and dining and it was clean. However, you need to request a room on the backside or quiet side. If you are on the street side, it is impossible to sleep. It would be good for hoteliers to work with the government to change the sound or hours that aid cares can run their sirens. Also, the rooms are super small (but that is normal) would be nice if their beds were elevated slightly to accommodate suitcases so that the nice sitting area could be used.

At the heart of Kyoto shopping district, this was a great location to take breaks during a busy exploration day. Coffee and drinks services were great and available throughout the day. Only suggestion would be to add more laundry machines for the ratio of # of guests to machine. Our room was directly across from the laundry room and it was in use 24/7. Luckily the hotel provided ear plugs for our stay knowing the noise from the streets and surrounding area. Aside from that, the beds and amenities were great and will stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in 3 person/bed room 817. It was really nice, clean and quiet. The breakfast was good. Very close to the market and many stores and restaurants along the street. Easy to everything. My sister stayed on 7th floor facing street which was much nosier.

Great location, little touristy of an area but it was perfectly situated to get around Kyoto. The room was nice and the hotel provided everything needed. The staff was excellent and very friendly. Not unlike most people in Japan.

My hotel stay for my first time in Kyoto was amazing. The hotel was amazing and the front desk staff along with all the staff in general were so helpful. They make you feel so welcomed and help you in any way they can. Would definitely come back and stay at this hotel the next time I’m in Kyoto.

Everywhere is super easy to access. You have your subway few minutes away and a whole shoppinfg district behind you. Staff were super nice and helpful. I would stay here again
