Hotel is 3mins walk from the train station which was ideal as I was arriving into Omihachiman late at night.
The room is clean and spacious. I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. So the other reviewer was right that they could improve the sound proofing of the windows. I recommend the hotel for it's location. There is another hotel even nearer but New Omi is of higher grade.

近江八幡で仕事の時はいつも利用しています。滞在は久しぶりでしたが、部屋がモダンに改装されていてきれいになっていました。昔のようにジムが無いのは残念ですが、とても快適です。
