Front desk really helpful although it's not perfect English. At night you can't really count on someone delivering something to your door. You might have to go to front desk if you want some amenities need for example. Breakfast is good; some are vegetarian friendly. You could have to ask which one is pure vegetarian, just use google translate just in case. Location is totally in front of Kyoto Station, convenient to go straight anywhere from Kyoto Station. Room is not bad, tiny and bed is pretty comfy too.

The rooms were on the small side but the twin room had much more space over the queen. Would recommend paying the extra. Overall the hotel was in a good location and was clean & tidy.

A very convenient place to stay as it’s opposite Kyoto Station. Unfortunately, the mattress topper kept moving about on the bed making it feel that I was just about to fall out of bed. Towels were changed daily despite us hanging them up. One friend was happy with wooden handles on the razer and toothbrush. Coffee sachets would have been a good idea as only tea was available sugar would have been good too. Apparently, breakfast was excellent.

This is a quick overnight decision for me. I didn’t plan to stay in Kyoto so for the price it was great. If I had to stay for a long time, I wouldn’t stay at this place.

Beware there is no A/C so you have to open the window to get air, and that brings in all the traffic sounds and crosswalk beeps from the street.

The location is great. It is easy access to JR and the subway. Taxies are waiting at the hotel. The shuttle bus to the airport departs near the hotel ( a minute away). The room is a bit small if you have luggage, but it is very quiet. Overall, it is a very good hotel.
