My high school friend and I (two adult women) took our first trip to Japan and had a great stay at this hotel in Tokyo. We arrived late via train from Narita and walked about 8–10 minutes from Hamamatsucho Station—it's safe and walkable even at night, though I recommend a taxi, especially with luggage. The hotel does offer a shuttle, but we chose to walk to the station each day for sightseeing. The concierge was very helpful and suggested the Tokyo city sightseeing bus. We did all three color routes over two days without getting off—an amazing way to get familiar with the city before exploring on our own. Our room had an incredible view of the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay. Watching the sunrise with a cup of espresso in hand (coffee pods and water replenished daily) while chatting with family back home was a lovely way to start each day. The room was clean, quiet, and stocked with all essentials—towels, toiletries, bottled water, and a coffee machine. Breakfast was a highlight: healthy options like yogurt, fruits, salads, juices, eggs made to order, and Japanese dishes. As non-pork eaters, we still had plenty to enjoy. After a long Mt. Fuji day trip, we used in-room dining for soup and fried chicken, though it wasn’t to our taste (very different from what we’re used to). Staff kindly arranged a timely taxi to the Shinkansen station for our trip to Osaka. This is a well-maintained, truly 5-star hotel. Get the bay view room—you won’t regret it!

Beautiful hotel that is ideal for someone looking to stay in an accessible area but not the main touristy places. The other people staying there were mostly Japanese. Excellent breakfast and room with a view of the water. I'd definitely go back there.

Everything is superb, including the room, view and service. The exception is the breakfast, where we had to wait in a queue to enter. The food is good, but they can’t cope with the volume of people.

I made an error and booked one too many nights. Although I was staying for a full week the hotel would not refund or credit me, which was disappointing. I gave to say that the staff at the hotel were excellent, especially the Chefs Live Team.

Stayed for several nights with family. Large, western style rooms with great view and nice amenities. Great breakfast buffet. Check-in service was slow, and the hotel is off the beaten path so not much to do in the immediate vicinity.

I usually stay in a higher class hotel, but for the money this hotel has great value. Area wasn’t walkable to very many attractions would be only downfall. Also one of the concierges (American guy) was so condescending. My friend and I had never been to Japan and we’re just looking for a great experience and asking for what food we should try he kept saying well what are you looking for but using Japanese language to describe the different types of restaurants, for instance using the Japanese word for hot pot instead of just saying hot pot. So instead of feeling like we were getting helped we felt like we were being patronized. Other than that amazing customer stay of service great value. I would stay here again, especially if it was for a work trip. Rooms and view are nice!

While it is definitely a beautiful hotel in a great location with 5 star service, there are a few things I found lacking that was disappointing. There was a lack of an onsen which for a hotel of this size, I would expect would be common for Japan, and the TVs in the room only offered selected channels with no option to cast or apps installed. For today’s standards, I would expect that access to Netflix and YouTube are standard across most hotels, let alone a 5 star hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, and offered decent variety but I think that having a changing special on offer daily would be great for guests who are staying across multiple days would help to make their stay even better. The service by staff was excellent and very polite though - definitely could not fault this.

Amazing service with generosity and attention to details. Tasty breakfast for vegetarian though we hope to have more warm vegetarian food options. No complaints though cos everything we put on the plate is tasty.

It was my family holiday to Japan for the first time especially with my kids looking forwards to it, I had booked 2 rooms with 1 adult and 1 child each at the executive level so that I want them to enjoy the privacy and exclusiveness. However when I check in the hotel, the staff told me the booking with Hotel.com and their system is different. Instead of 2 adults and 2 childs, they can only consider us as 3 adults. This means I need to pay one of my child to access to the lounge facility. In the end, I had rejected it and option out for the lounge access. I’m very disappointed. We had stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. Upon checking out our room, I had found out that the hotel accidentally charge me a dinning bill at the Hudson lounge for more than USD100. I am glad that I had checked the bill carefully and immediately rejected this bill as I had never dine in at the Hudson lounge. After the front desk staff checked again with the lounge staff, eventually they found is their mistake. I’m very surprised that IHG is an international hotel chain but yet they had made such careless mistake on the bill. This is the first time I had experienced such incidents during the hotel stays. Overalls, I should say that although the hotel was good but the experience with this hotel was not great and it did spoilt our holiday mood
