Meguro Holic Hotel

So convenient being close to JR Meguro station, great eateries (suggest Tonkatsu Taihou, Ryuhou, Napa Gochisou, Menya Kuro, Yakiniku Jumbo, etc.), Matsumoto Kiyoshi is essentially next door if you need a pharmacy. Bakery next door is amazing, as well. Hotel staff is helpful, and the drink bar in the lobby? Perfect. Rooms are roomy and clean. Only concern, the mattress can feel like a wooden board for some travelers.

Wonderful stay

Tgere are a lot of issues with this hotel maintenance and staffs. 1. There are no "ice" in the facility. 2. The shower room has sewage smell and was dirty. 3. Three are modes on the walls.

Perfect place to hang your hat after a long day in the beautiful city. The decor, the amenities & the vibes are banging to say the least. I will definitely be back ASAP!!! Thank you to the staff for always going above & beyond to make sure that we the guests are always being taken care of. Much appreciated.

Sucu a good hotel and attention by the staff

I really liked the room that is modern and very clean. The bed was comfortable. I’d come back there again.

Good hotel in a good location, that isn’t that far from shibuya and shinjuku with a great staff!

Staff was nice. The rooms are full of mold. Some of the baths don’t work. Not worth the cost! I was congested my whole stay.

Easy to get to and from public transportation, clean and large rooms, free amenities, friendly staff. Good places to eat nearby as well.

Dingy! The walls were very dirty with stains and dust on the walls. Quite a dark room. Bathroom with separate toilet was nice. Smoking smell in hallway (despite booking a SMOKE FREE room) wasn’t pleasant. The staff was kind to let us keep our bags in the lobby before our check in and after our check out. They had soda and coffee and tea free in the lobby.

The room is ok. The bed and the pillows are way too hard. The staffs are pleasant and generally helpful .

I’ve been staying this hotel regularly. The room is clean, good amenities, and suitable for video meeting.

Clean and good location

I wish I had the advantage of recent reviews before booking because unfortunately I had to leave my stay mid-way and book another hotel. The property is showing its age, with peeling wallpaper. But what was most concerning was mold in the AC system, raising concern about potential for mold in other areas; this created a smell in the room that I was unfortunately uncomfortable sleeping in. There was also the smell of sewage throughout the lobby and into the rooms during the stay which later unabated but was still present, un-addressed by staff. I was forced to check out at 8pm and book a stay at another hotel--the staff member apparently did not think that this was strange or ask why I was checking out. I also had a package to be delivered to that hotel the next day and was told that I could come back to pick it up. When I came back the next day another staff member told me that because I was no longer staying there, they would refuse any shipments in my name--he did not attempt to help me call the shipping company or rectify the issue. Headed to the airport, I lost my expensive souvenir. Overall I would not recommend staying here, and am very upset I booked as it ruined this part of my trip.

Hotel is fairly nice. Was thinking it is a bit overpriced, but not a bad hotel. Rooms are not big, but fine. The only bad criticism I have about the room is the too large table, that doesn’t leave much space in the room and its sharp corners. If you put such a large table in the middle of the room, guaranteed, people will bomb their legs at it, and will get injured. A table with more round corners and not sharp edge is advisable. Breakfast is changing every day, so first day, was quite good for me. However, on the second day, I couldn’t find too many items that I want to eat. Amenities are nice. Location is good too.

Good location near Meguro Station and Yamanote line. Lots of restaurants nearby. Sewer smells in hotel. Beds are punishingly hard. Can’t send luggage ahead to next destination from the front desk. Have to go to the local convenience store down the hill.
