Super pretty, staff was nice and helpful. Actually nice to have a balcony to get fresh air. Not necessarily near anything but the stadium and maybe a 9-10 min walk to Starbucks. There’s stations near by. Didn’t get to try the restaurant but we did have coffee and a pastry. Was delicious! Laundry service was pricy

The hotel looks great on the out side, the lobby is purely done, uncomfortable chairs and not inviting, coffee shop opens only at 7:00 am, a bit late for us , rooms are great and comfortable, tv service and streaming is hardly working, when I called the lobby they said they tried to fix it with no luck claiming the usage is high , location is out of the way , so to get to a restaurant or shopping you have to take a taxi, I recommend the Ginza area for stay, if you like restaurants and action!

An Exceptional Stay in the Heart of Shinjuku. I recently stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel in Tokyo, and I can confidently say it was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The location is incredibly convenient—nestled in the vibrant Shinjuku neighborhood, just a short walk from a subway station, the bustling shopping area, and the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Whether you’re looking to explore, shop, or just relax in nature, everything is within easy reach. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped. One of the highlights was the onsen (Japanese hot spring) on site, which was such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience after long days of exploring Tokyo. The bakery on site deserves a special mention—the pastries were fresh, delicious, and perfect for a midday treat. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning, and it was hands down the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had: a wide variety of options, beautifully presented, and consistently high quality. The staff was warm, professional, and always helpful. Thank you for making our stay so memorable—your hospitality truly made a difference. If you’re looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-located place to stay in Tokyo, I wholeheartedly recommend Mitsui Garden Hotel. I’ll definitely be coming back! ありがとうございました

The hotel was very good overall. There is not much in the immediate area but there is a train stop only minutes away. The restaurant had some tasty food at very high prices. Our room was very nice and had a good urban view, but was small.

Overall average experience. Nothing extraordinary and nothing terrible. I don’t like how they don’t stock your room with the basic toiletries and u need to use a communal space. Staff was just avg, didn’t explain anything about the hotel amenities or the communal we just figured it out on our own. Rooms were clean not very spacious but that’s typical in Japan. Location is close to transportation but that’s about it. Again not terrible and not great just an average experience.

Honestly This hotel was a little bit disappointing for the price. We ended up paying $400USD per night at that rate I would have just stayed right in the city.
