Really close to the Kyoto Station. The staff was nice and English-friendly. I left my key in the middle of the night in my room, and the staff got up from her sleep to make a new key for me.
Nice service.

For solo travelers, I highly recommend this hotel. It's close to Kyoto Station, just a 400-meter walk away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Sakura terrace for a whole week and it was a very pleasant experience. The public bathrooms are cleaner than some private hotel bathrooms!! And all the amenities available are very useful. It was a great location! Getting around Kyoto and elsewhere was so easy due to the stations and bus stops nearby. Would stay here again! the hotel and amenities are very nice and its a great location. The staff is not that helpful and are quick to respond things like "we do not handle such matters" if you have any sort of issue. But if you are fine with not needing any help from the hotel staff, everything else is nice.

Room is pretty tight. Meaning 2 suitcase is all you can fit in the room. Being that close to Kyoto Station is huge! Making the trip more convenient. Possibilities are endless. I love Kyoto. Will return in the near future..:)

I would never consider staying here again. For the price charged, the experience was completely unacceptable.
The room felt grimy and poorly maintained from the moment we walked in. The bathroom was a genuine safety hazard—the toilets and floor were incredibly slippery. To make matters worse, the onsen was unhygienic and visibly full of hair. It’s clear that cleanliness is not a priority for the management here.
To top it off, we were hit with a 400 yen accommodation tax at checkout. While I realize this is a Kyoto city requirement, paying extra fees for a hotel that can’t even keep its facilities sanitary felt like a total rip-off.
Save your money and find a cleaner, safer place to stay in Kyoto. This was a massive letdown.

I had such a relaxing stay! I was so impressed by all the amenities and my room was so comfortable. The common room is very inviting and I loved how there was always tea available. Big plus is the onsen bath and clean and spacious shower room! Really enjoyed my stay and definitely will be back.
