cleaning can be better

Air circulation is horrible in the rooms. My partner and I both woke up with the dry throats and noses every morning despite running the provided humidifier at max all through the night. We are still recovering 2 days lagers. Other than that you basically get what you paid for. Basics all covered but nothing special.

Great hotel

The location was very welcoming to foreigners! The Hilton was close and offered a great choice of shopping and eating options! The staff spoke English and was very welcoming!

Accesible from Nagoya station either by subway or walking.

Everything was good. Room was very small, but clean.

The breakfast at SANCO was the best hotel breakfast I had in my 14-day Japan trip. The room is small and the shower is a little cramped.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff were very friendly. The carpet floors were a bit dirty.

But far from the castle but close to shopping and food

The check-in process was extremely smooth and they have a payment kiosk that displays information in English. They have food allergy notifications for each food item in the breakfast buffet. The only bad thing I could mention is that the comforter cover and one towel were stained, but they looked like old stains. Everything else seemed clean and their air conditioning worked well. It was a very comfortable stay and I would absolutely stay here again!!! Considering that the price I paid included a meal, I think that this is the best price in this area for a private non-smoking room with a private bathroom/shower that I could have found!

The 2 rooms we had during the last check in on 3 Jan 19 were disappointing. The carpets were not properly cleaned and there was a layer of dust over the phone. We had clean rooms and no issues during our previous stays so are puzzled how this could have happened.

This hotel is very good, pretty central, walking distance to anywhere in the CBD - very comfortable. Very good wifi.

Fantastic, a tiny room but well equipped, extremely helpful and sincere front desk service, very convenient location, easy access to restaurants and shopping places, hotel provided with free printing and coffee services, laundry available, very much appreciated.

At first, I thought this is a standard business hotel in Japan - clean, good value for money, small space. However, I really appreciate their staff being very helpful when I left an item of clothing after checking out. I sent an email and they responded immediately and advised they can forward my item to my current hotel, which is in Kyoto. The package arrived the next day, which I am very grateful for, they don't have to do it, but I really appreciate the extra mile they went for me.
