This was an affordable and comfortable hotel in a very convenient location. The hotel was only a couple minutes walk from the train station, and the station is a short train ride away from Kamakura. If you're looking for a more luxurious stay, this probably isn't what you want. That said, I definitely felt I got my money's worth and would stay here again.

The hotel is a budget hotel for transit or local business travelers. It's two stations away from Kamakura ( about 3-5 min ride) a much more interesting place. Ofuna is just a small town with some eateries in town centre. Luckily the hotel is easy to find and close to train station
Hotel staff speak little English and have to use a handheld translating appliance to explain if you don't speak Japanese

The location is really convenient as there are many restaurants and shops nearby. However, the hotel was very smoky that all our clothes in my luggage became contaminated after 1 night. The level of unpleasant smell is like you are in a room with several people smoking. Once you stepped out of the lift on your floor, you can feel this. And of course, the room was the same. We felt so disappointed.
