Excellent hotel to stay at in Tokyo. Friendly staff, took care of all requests. Hotel had nice touches include a complimentary afternoon tea/ pastry service and a happy hour service in the evening. Easy access to subway and Kyoto sights. Recommend highly

Wonderful room and breakfast, and as a huge bonus there was an included lounge area with a fireplace, floor to ceiling windows, and free drinks and snacks in the evening. Very close to metro station, in a quiet and safe area of Kyoto. Excellent service from the staff, who also spoke good English and were very kind and accommodating to us and other international guests. Thank you for a great stay while we visited Kyoto!

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was so nice. They have a happy hour where they serve a dessert case with the most delicious mini treats. There’s an onsen on the property as well, so after a long day sightseeing you can go relax in the hot springs. Room was really nice and comfortable. Convenient to the train station and lots of places to eat.

Room & location were excellent but the reception was quite hostile and unhelpful at times.
On my last day, I approached reception at 10:30 am (check out was 11am). I wanted to ask the receptionist a few questions before checking out but she just took my card and proceeded to checkout. I asked her if she could help me call a restaurant to see if it was open (NOT to make any reservation) but the lady insisted I had already checked out so she could not help me. I was shocked since I assume she would need to help me if she would let me ask this question before checking out (but she just took my card and would NOT listen to me as previously mentioned). She kept refusing to help and said it was hotel policy she cannot help guests who have already checked out (even if it was only 1 minute ago).
Her supervisor noted the incident and offered to help himself. I felt grateful he was here to intervene and help. Afterwards the lady kept saying “ok bye bye, ok bye bye” as if to shoo my mother and I away even though I wasn’t ready to leave yet (my car had not arrived).
I asked for her name and she took her name badge off and hid in the staff room for the remaining time after.
It’s a shame the female receptionist left such a hostile, unfriendly, unprofessional impression. She is in urgent need of training.

Excellent value for money. Situated at the intersection of two subway lines, it is a good base for a visit to Kyoto. Room was spacious, modern and comfortable. Complimentary drinks and snacks were available in the residents lounge, and the breakfast was good. Restaurants are nearby. We highly recommend this property.

Really nice hotel. The room was quite spacious and well equipped. The breakfast and happy hour snacks and drinks are really nice as well.
It is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the subway station and there are plenty of restaurants within walkable distance

First visit to Japan, stayed at 4 different hotel properties. The Royal Park Hotel Iconic was hands down the best one! Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great amenities and the staff were all helpful. The hotel offered luggage transportation services and the prices for that were reasonable. Their cocktail hour at the Lounge was fun, it’s all DIY cocktails but they give you everything you need. Would definitely recommend and come back
