Tosei Cocone in Kamakura gave me top-notch service. The staff’s professionalism was enveloped in warm friendliness. They were courteous and efficient. They offered nightly snack of yummy baked rice ball and miso soup. The maid service was available everyday during our four night stays. The hotel was located just five minute walk from JR Kamakura station. Great restaurants, cute boutiques and historical landmarks were within easy walking distance. The room I booked was twin bed room.It was clean and comfortable. The room had high ceiling which gave my 6-foot tall husband the sense of relief. I know i have made a fabulous choice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Everything was perfect, quiet place, very good japanese breakfast. Very polite staff. Near to train station and good restaurant.

Morning breakfast set is delicious.
Next door adjacent have a very good fish sashimi shop. Surprisingly good quality at reasonable price !( compare to Main Street and enoshima restaurant)

Lovely hotel with comfortable beds and lovely decoration throughout and with an inclusive public baths available.
Kamakura is a lovely upmarket place with plenty of parks, shrines and shops.
It is worth using the electric light railway to go to Enoshima island, where if you are lucky you can watch the sunset over Mt. Fuji.

We really enjoyed this hotel (1-night family stay). It's a 5-minute walk from the station (and therefore the starting point for all Kamakura's attractions) in a very quiet, semi-pedestrian street. The staff were very courteous, helpful and available, and there was even an employee perfectly fluent in English. The room (double with an extra bed) was large for a Japanese hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The only downside was that the room was too hot for our taste and we didn't want to turn on the air-conditioning in the middle of winter, so we slept with the window open (but as everything was quiet, it didn't keep us awake). [We didn't try the breakfast or the bath].

So many foreign tourists book this place and get really crowded, you need to time for using the public bath if you enjoy using it.
Check out time is early, by 10:00. So it feels like a bit of rush.

Very friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, great breakfast. The only thing that potentially could be improved is to add a vegetarian breakfast option, but on the whole, a very nice hotel.
