I wish the shuttle options to and from the ferry terminal was more frequent. As when I arrived into Macao i had to wait 90 minutes.

The room in hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and kind as always.
We had good memories with Hotel Royal Macau over the past decade as we always had a comfortable stay here.
However, we were a bit disappointed with our previous stays recently. We got a room with a good price and we understood the view would not be great. Unfortunately, we found out the gym and swimming pool has been closed due to maintaince for one month from the notice in the room. We didn’t get any messages and reminders about the closure through Expedia or hotel email (maybe it is appered somewhere but not obvious to be easily noticed) before going to Macau. It was very frsutrated and upset from the start of the vacation.
It reminded us last time we had the similar disappointment when having lunch at the Portuguese resturant Fado on the second floor of the hotel. Hotel guests should enjoy some discount when dining at Fado. But when we had the bill for our lunch, we were told the discount offer was not applicable since we already checked-out on the same day. We reserved the table with our room number but the resturant said the system did not allow us to get this discount.
We asked the front desk of the hotel about the confusion of discount offer at Fado this time. They replied the guests should enjoy the discount even they check-out on the same day. Anyway, please ask the front desk and Fado to make sure the discount is available even you checkout on the same day.
