The hotel really good. the location is in front of two famous mall, the room is so nice and the breakfast also have many varieties of food and delicious. i love the nasi lemak.

The stay has been great and all the hotel amenities are excellent with comfy bed/pillows, clean bathroom etc. Food served for breakfast was simply fabulous and tasteful with a lot of variety. Even "Nescafe tarik" was served. On top of that, Komtar JBCC was located across the street and allows to do some shopping.

I booked Amari JB with great expectation as I had a great experience staying at Amari Penang for many times. Unfortunately, it wasnt a pleasant stay. As we checked in, I went for a shower, and only shampoo is around, no body shampoo. I called the operator, and I need to repeat 3 times on what is missing, and thats the first unpleasant encounter. Next is bath robe that is super dirty and stained as the attached picture. This is definitely something the hotel didnt manage well, how could such dirty bath robe ended in a so called newly cleaned room. When i went to the reception to highlight the issue, i was told that it will be informed to the manager and wanted to send a new robe to my room. I request to prepare at the reception and I'll pick them up when i come back. The service recovery wasnt done at all, i dont feel the staff genuinely know the serious of this hygience complaint, and just change the robe withtou further handling of the issue, and I guess this is how the so called manager handles it. I'm not happy with it. When i go back to take the replacement robe, there is another staff at the counter and when I mentioend my room, he was like so blur and not sure why im there for.. this is another lousy internal communication by the staff, showing that the hotel is not handlign this seriously. I'll consider if i want to book and stay at JB Amari again.

Called for a cot, wine glasses.. both took super long to come. In the event that they came, it was at least an hour.. other than that. Good stay, nice food options. Will contemplate coming back again.

the breakfast was amazingggggg!!! So many options and it was the highlight of the stay.
It was quite convienent. The rooms don't really reflect a 5 star hotel. The rooms were made up quite late in the afternoon. The Aircon reflected 25 degrees but it felt more like 20.

Coming back for the fifth time says a lot. Our regular haunt, which never fails to disappoint. Check in was seamless, and we were surprised to be allocated the highest floor of our stays so far.
Upon check in, the room was clean and tidy. We were presented with complimentary amenities which was another pleasant surprise.
Only gripe we had was some minor defects which did not affect the condition of our stay whatsoever. Looking forward to be back!

Disappointing stay at the heart of JB. Shower head were mouldly at both rooms, and the toilets were dirty. Cleanliness standards seriously need improvement. Poor housekeeping. And the check-in was very late; the rooms were ready after 5:30pm or so.

My recent stay from 10th to 11th May 2025 at Amari Hotel Johor Bahru was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and professional—special thanks to the team who checked us in for their excellent service.
We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a Deluxe King Room, which made our stay even more comfortable. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained—kudos to Mr. Sharul for outstanding housekeeping! Every detail was perfect.
The hotel’s prime location was a huge plus—just a short distance from City Square and Komtar JBCC Mall, making shopping and dining super convenient.
Thanks to the entire team for making our stay memorable. We’ll definitely be back for another short getaway with family! Keep up the fantastic work!

Very nice hotel n clean. Staffs were friendly service especially Fikir who checked us in.
Room was very clean n bed n pillows were very comfortable to sleep.
Lots of shopping malls n restaurants around n walking distance.
