The room is very well kept and clean, comfy mattress for a good night's sleep. Staff is friendly during check-in and out. It comes with a signature welcome cookie which is so delicious.

Had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Penang. The warm welcome at check-in, clean and cozy room, and overall service were excellent. The location is convenient, close to popular spots around Batu Ferringhi. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Would definitely come back for another stay!

Everything is good. Just prepare RM3 for the parking lot. I love the breakfast buffet, especially the Indian cuisines. The staff is so friendly and helpful when I asked about it. Thus, I am able to try something new like pongal rice, idli, and some sweet dessert. Thanks for the best experience.

Check-in process was smooth. Received a welcome cookie as Hilton's signature greeting gesture. The room is big and comfy. Our room includes breakfast. Hilton offers a variety of food choices, and for kids too! We visited the Kid's club and my kids love it! Thanks Hilton for superb service 🫰.

Stayed there for 3 nights but decided to check out after night 2. Penang in general wasnt impressive. Hotel was in a good location next to a beach but a good 25-30 mins drive from Georgetown. Breakfast was lackluster. We went for dinner one night at the restaurant Makan Kitchen. Food was 3 out of 4 stars. Food was average.

Far from Georgetown and not much to do at the property. Limted meal options and F&B required improvement in terms of food quality and room seevice. Staff at the main restaurant Makan were fantastic and well trained.

I am really impressed with how attentive and consistent the service of all the staff was. They are always smiley, friendly and cheerful. Makes the stay a comforting one.
Location is abit off from city centre, so it is a nice place to chill and relax if your intention is to get away from crowd.
I only have 2 feedback for improvement:
1. The breakfast food is wonderful, but I feel that there can be slightly more meat options.
2. My room has a slight musky smell, and there are visible balls of dust on the wall or bed frame. The AC filter on the ceiling right outside the bathroom is choked full of dust, probably not cleaned for very long. There were times I sneezed in the room, and since I have no allergy, it must be the dusty AC causing it.
Cleanliness inside my room definitely can be better.
Overall, it is still a good stay. Thanks!

We were a few minutes early and hotel staff made us wait until exactly 3pm before we were allowed to check in. Slow WiFi unless you sign up to their club like it’s 2008. Generally pretty good hotel, but very much aimed at families. There are plenty of better hotels in the area, I likely won’t stay here again

Great staff - great pool area. Breakfast is fabulous. Room was clean and serviced daily by the nicest young man. The gym was was well appointed. The Spa for massages was wonderful. The carpets in hallways and walls in hallways to rooms could be deep cleaned.

Large and comfortable room, nice shower, room safe and everything else you would need.
I’m not sure how old the hotel is but it is just starting to feel a little dated in the rooms.
Staff were super friendly and helpful, also nice to have the pool table and a few other activities in the lobby.
We had an issue with the fridge not working in our room which they resolved straight away.
Gym was decent size and very quiet when we were here also.
It is in a bit of an odd location where you must get a Grab everywhere but they are cheap and available.
