Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

Waking up to the view of the Petronas Twin Towers, surrounded by forests of skyscrapers and at night, seeing the KLCC fountain show and reflections of the Petronas Towers on the Four Seasons hotel. That was my defining feature of this hotel. The city of Kuala Lumpur, sadly is not a very walkable city, at least not in the area around KLCC. The roads are winding, sometimes missing, confusing always. The hotel to other parts of KL is hard to get to without the power of Grab, probably the easiest and cheapest way to get around (Unless you have the Chinese president visit KL during your visit and you have road closures, but I digress.) This hotel however, has a route that gets you inside the Suria Mall without having to endure the humidity of Kuala Lumpur. The lobby is on the 39th floor of the building. Interesting experience, and you can see the iconic Twin Towers, but it does make it longer for you to go into your room, as you have to take the elevator twice. But the room is quite nice from my experience, facilities are good as well, with a nice gym. The room was kept well-maintained for the duration of my stay. The area felt safe at all times of the day, and there were many staff at the ground floor to help you get your stuff out from your Grab/transport from your airport, and if you want to order food, the ground floor seems to be the place where the drivers drop it off so you can leisurely come pick up the food. Excellent experience overall, would stay here again.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. My room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city. The bad things about the hotel you can hear people talking, walking on corridor when you're in the room.

The staff are great, extremely helpful, basically lead us through our way, like checking in/out, using facilities like the swimming pool, helping us to locate our tour car/van, calling a cab.....The pool is big and clean...., really nice hotel.

Breakfast is great.

Buffet breakfast was great but will prefer the hotel to serve buffet dinner. Great facilities. Very convenient location.

Great location. Comfortable hotel and great service staff. Sadly the restaurant at 37. Did not do justice to the expensive Miyazaki wagyu steak.

Tv channel not good

I was treated rudely by the staff (a Malay man) at the Ground Floor upon checking in (the small reception near the front door). I arrived on 8th March at around 11 p.m. and was dressed casually in a home wear T-shirt and shorts. When I asked for directions to the lobby, the staff member pointed in the direction rudely, with an unwilling tone, probably not expecting me as a guest. Everything else was 10/10, except for this guy's attitude.

This was a true 5 star stay. Modern room layout had the bath in the middle with beds, sink, coffee nook and changing area on four sides. broad view of the city center from high up the building. Restaurant and room service food was top notch. And overall service was great. I needed an early morning ride to the airport and the concierge was very helpful finding me a ride. One thing to note: the lobby is at the top floor so one has to take an express elevator to the top then take another elevator down to the rooms.

I’m writing this because it would of helped to know a little more about this magnificent and to an extent lesser known property with breathtaking views of Petronas Towers, sophisticated bar and one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve had in a long time! To sum up, I would go back back to Grand Hyatt KL in a heart beat and this time leave plenty of room (tummy & time) to fully enjoy the delicious breakfast! The whole experience felt like one pleasant surprise after the other! Thank You Grand Hyatt and hope to see you again!

Good location, walking distance from Petronas tower and Bukit Bintang. Restaurant is ok too. But there are a huge company event going on, that made it all way too busy and poor experience. In addition, There was repair going on in the room next to me and they won't stop even if I requested. I was given a bottle of red as a gesture...But it did ruin my experience fair bit. Staff are very good too. And breakfast is really good.

My wife and I had an excellent 3 night stay at the Grand Hyatt KL. It is situated in the heart of KLCC with nearby access to KLCC park. We booked a Deluxe Room (Tower View). Our room 2409 was stunning with floor to ceiling windows giving a view of the Petronas Towers and the park with its nightly fountain light show. It was one of the best rooms we have ever stayed in. This was our first visit to KL and we were very pleased that we chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt.

It’s within walking distance to KLCC and sheltered walkway to Pavilion.

Excellent everything. Room excellent. Beautiful view. Breakfast buffet had variety and was excellent Going up to lobby on 68 before going down to get out of hotel was weird. That’s the only thing, but, but it was convenient anyway and had a beautiful view from up top

Great Hotel, best Breakfast, friendly staff, clean…just the best!!

Facial towels only provided the first day, had to call for it everyday, Sound proof is not good, door noisy at night when ppl go in and out of the room.
