I had the most pleasant stay here. The room very clean and spacious. Breakfast so delicious. Plus, the staffs very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

What a DEAL!! An incredibly nice, clean, centrally located modern hotel at such a low price - and that price included an all-you-can-eat Chinese breakfast buffet each morning.
On-site gym and outdoor pool, on-site convenience store, on-site restaurant, shuttle service to the 3 major shopping malls, on-site laundry service, and a huge, well-furnished, well-kept hotel room with all the modern-day amenities I needed. I HIGHLY recommend the Ming Garden Hotel is/when you're visiting Kota Kinabalu.

I stayed here for a few nights and was unimpressed with the cleanliness of the hotel.
There was some mould on the roof of my bedroom and bathroom, and the carpet was dirty. There were strange stains on the headboard of the bed.
The breakfast service was quite untidy, with plates not well cleaned and surfaces unclean

When we arrived we got a room which was very cold because of the AC and we couldn't change the temperature. We asked for a new room and had to wait till 1am. We arrived the hotel at 9:45pm. When we checked in, we also asked where we can find any dinner, and she said the restaurant was closed. When we came up to the room we realized there was room service and we actually could order food. But then we have already order food via grab.

I think this hotel have no replacement towel policy. 5 nights stay either they leave 1 towel or no towel at all. Soap and shampoo will not be replenish until u request.

Place was very accomodating... nice comfortable beds, great location. A frustrating stain on one of the seats, and a some spots appearing around the AC. Wasn't perfect but it had really good vibes, great people. I kept extending my stay in KK and consistently chose Ming.

Free parking only for one time in/out, after that will need to pay even when during the booking confirmation stated free parking.
The internet very slow, TV not clear.
Toilet shower need to be fix.
The room not enough lighting especially the closet area.

Sheets/ towel were a little stained, toilet bowl seat needs to be changed. Other than that I think it was value for money if you’re just there to sleep
