MyRus Resort Langkawi

This hotel is clearly designed with families in mind, offering plenty of child-friendly amenities. We stayed in the “Mickey Mouse House,” which was fun for the kids, though the interior was quite basic and could use some updates. The outdoor area with the pool is a real highlight for children – very well done and enjoyable. There’s also a kids’ playroom and a billiards room. The hotel is set on a hillside, offering a stunning view over the Langkawi coastline. Being close to the jungle adds a unique touch – we even saw monkeys during our stay! While the rooms themselves are a bit outdated and could benefit from renovation, one staff member truly made our stay exceptional. A gentleman from Pakistan went above and beyond – he was incredibly helpful, attentive, and seemed to know every detail about the hotel’s operations. His dedication and service really stood out. The kitchen and breakfast were both very good, rounding out a stay that was especially enjoyable for families with children. With some room improvements, this place could be truly excellent.

The resort is fine, but the rooms must be improved.
