I didn't put much expectation in the hotel as it looked like an old hotel from the exterior. I chose it because it was near my grandma's place. From the moment I entered the lobby, I was blown away by the interior and the service. But then when I went to room is when I texted my friends to try this hotel. The newly refurbished room is beautiful, clean. And just perfect. A definite must stay.

This was my first staying at Sunway Resort & Spa.. I just wanna say that this us the best ever hotel i’ve been staying because the service are very excellent & all staff are very friendly, helpful & always give the best service during our stay at this hotel. We are being treated as a VVIP from the day we checked in until the day we checked out. The interior of the hotel are very nice & clean make we feel comfortable & enjoying our stay here. Congrats to the hotel management for hiring & well trained all their staff to give an excellent service to all guest. I would recommend my families, my friends & others to staying here. As the hotel is just next by the Sunway Lagoon & Sunway Pyramid shopping mall where we can walk through walking path (connecting from hotel) without going through under sun. I would like to give 20 🌟out of 10 🌟😉😉😊😊.

Celebrated my mum's birthday in Sunway Resort. Everything is perfect! Million thanks to the guy in front desk who upgraded me to the club room. Had a wonderful and memorable birthday celebration.

First of all, ballroom was amazing. The reception is great, the room is spacious, bed was bigger than standard bed, and that one giant pillow on the bed is really some new experience for us. Breakfast was exclusive as well. Been there twice and will come back for more.

Room was great since it has easy access to the kids pool. Amenities provided was good.
But the room especially the toilet was rather small.
Facilities provided is good.
Breakfast was average.
The restaurant was indeed spacious but they might need to consider to open two buffet line instead of one to cater the crowd/ guests.
Some food they replenish, gone in secs and you have to wait again.
The staff (not all) might need to work on their customer service skill. From the phone operator (before reservation) to the front desk staff (upon check in).
For a 5 star hotel, we were expecting atleast the staff to be a tad friendly rather than being robotic giving us a yes, no, maybe answer to our queries.
Can’t comment much on the F&B staff since they were busy.
The staffs at the pool was pleasant and not forgetting the front desk staff (upon check out) i forgot to take his name. He was good.
Not forgetting the bellman service too.
To be able to connect with the hotel through whatsapp was a time saving! It’s such a great idea to have the channel for your guests to connect instantly. Kudos to that!
Parking was hard to find since it was connected to the rest of the hotels, mall, and theme park.
Overall, our stay was pleasant. Atleast, the kids had fun :)

We didn’t feel that we were welcomed especially in the teatime lounge, the staff of the teatime lounge are not professional, they need training to learn how to treat the customers, the breakfast is average, the hotel is not as expected, in my opinion, this hotel is not up to 5 stars standard.

Everything about the hotel is good. Check-in was smooth. Check-out takes time, bell-boy service was super slow and waited for almost an hour. Compliment to front-desk staff Francis who help trace one of family member who left the bag with passport. Without his persistent looking for help from the manager in-charged we may end-up having to make police report and approach our embassy. Kudos to front-desk staff Francis and Zaton who make our family of 49 most memorably days.

Front desk service was superb especially Staff Zaiton (hope it right spelling) who approach us when we was trying to trace for missing booking and arrange for foe extra blanket when realised the room we booked cannot accommodate extra bed my helper. Elisa customer service who arrange for room with connecting room and on the same floor more than 10 room. These trips the most memorable when 4th gen with 49 family member travel together with smooth check-in. Excellent hotel service. It will even better if the complimentary room deco with at few ballon for birthday boy but birthday was nice.

Team at the resort were fantastic, ability to transit through to the shopping centre without hitting the temperature and humidity every time,
Property condition, especially when considering the price did not meet 5 stars, the bath wouldn’t drain at all, which was one thing, whilst the shower water built up whilst showering and overflowed within a normal reasonable shower length,
Also there was a smell on floor six when alighting the lifts each time, likely from issues with water or humidity, although noticeable each time,
It may be that on a subsequent visit I may choose to stay closer to the city, as travel did not always feel convenient,

They got my booking of 2 rooms wrong and promised to to rectify by next day 2pm. We waited till 5.30pm and no one was bothered till we went to counter and asked. Then it was done.
Staff attitude is bad. Mostly most staff missing when you look for them.
