It’s our second time staying at Weil hotel. Very good location, next to a shopping mall and close by to makan joints. Hotel Service is really good... starting from check-in to check-out. Stay was very comfortable, staff polite & professional... overall experience was awesome. Will definitely stay here again when I next visit Ipoh!! And recommend friends as well!!!

This was my 10th stay at WEIL hotel. Nothing to argue, except it was a very pleasant stay. The room as usual. Very clean. The staffs were all friendly. And the breakfast at tiffin was marvelous. This is the only hotel that keep me want to check-in every time I visit ipoh.

One night stay at Ipoh, room is spacious and clean. The hotel is connect to a shopping mall which is convenient. Breakfast is OK nothing special. There’s supper after 10pm and it wasn’t very exciting.

This is no near a 5 star hotel , they lack in basic amenities such as water bottles. 2nd of all stepping through the main lobby has a very bad odor and throughout the building. They over spray with fragrance to reduce it but it is just a temporary fix.
The furniture in the room is very outdated, the pictures will deceive you. At best this hotel is a 3 star hotel.

Great hotel. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice rooftop bar. Room service food was average. There’s not much around the hotel and the walk into town is a bit dicey along a main road. Best to take a Grab, but due to Thaipussam festival and road closures, this wasn’t possible.

The hotel's location is good, hotel condition is like new with spacious rooms with easy access to all amenities.
The breakfast choice is OK but mainly aimed at the Asians not so much European.
Reported the issues of cold food served at breakfast especially the eggs scrambled but this fell on deaf ears

Location was good and convenient , check in was fast , the only issue is the air con is not cold enough in the room even though set at 17 degrees. Had the same issue on my previous stay. Perhaps the hotel need to do something about it. Ended up couldn’t sleep most of the night

Enjoyable stay with courteous service.
We chose this hotel for its central location, connection to the Ipoh Mall and the 6 EV charging bays for hotel guests (at RM1.05/kWh).
Our room on the Concept (12th) floor came with a jacuzzi, and overall it was spacious and comfortable, but with some hits and misses.
Hits was the large 2 person jacuzzi, the smart tv with screen mirroring, comfy king size bed, powerful water and, uniquely, a drinking water faucet in the bathroom. Oh and also the complimentary breakfast buffet, 5pm-7pm predinner fingerfood and drinks on the lounge within the floor and 11pm supper
Misses was our room's vertical blinds in the windows (that had come off-track so we could not enjoy the views), lack of wardrobe space and no small dining table for in-room meals, though the room definitely has space for it.
Have bookmarked this hotel as our go-to on our next Ipoh trip.

Do not go on a weekend or public holiday or festival. They lease out the rooftop bar and allow loud rock bands until early morning hours. Your room will literally vibrate. We made a mistake of New Year’s Eve and when they said the music will go till 3am the manager said to me “too bad it’s New Year’s Eve. Disgraceful customer service and would not offer another night in lieu.

The Weil Hotel is an average property. No major complaints. But I agree with a number of the other reviewers, it’s nothing special either. Its greatest amenity is a connection to a large mall, which comes in handy on rainy nights.
The room was clean, but showing signs of aging. The lighting is poor. With everything on the room stills feels really dark. One central light between the beds is annoying.
The staff is friendly, and helpful. We were there at the beginning of a school holiday and the hotel was packed with families. The staff was obviously a bit frazzled.
The breakfast buffet was fairly diverse, but mediocre food quality. And the room is cramped.
