The Mike Hotel

Booked here to be close to the ferry to Valletta, but away from the noisier nightlife. Place is perfect. Clean, well-maintained, and a lovely breakfast delivered to your room. Very helpful and friendly onsite staff. There's a 24 hour shop across the road for the essentials, only a 3 minute walk to the ferry.

The room was clean and the staff so kind everything was nice.

The stairs were a bit scary for me and my sister - we’re not as nimble as we used to be so spiral stairs up to our room wasn’t ideal, glad we only had small luggage.

Pleasant staff, clean, well appointed with A/C, excellent shower and a fridge in the newly decorated room. More than adequate breakfast to get your day started served to your room each day. Well located for exploring the Three Cities, in a quiet side street, close to a convenience store and a very short walk to the Valletta ferry

Excellent small boutique hotel. Andreina was at check in when we arrived and greeted with a smile and quick process. We had room 10 with a lovely terrace. Every day breakfast was delivered to your room which was a nice touch. Room and Hotel were spotless all thanks to Andreina and Clair. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Our first visit to Malta and we will be back and stay at The Mike Hotel.

My only question was breakfast which was delivered every morning by very nice ladies. The content of the breakfast was sandwiches every day. Would have preferred more of a choice but i do appreciate that there was no specific dining room to offer anything else.

The hotel was conveniently located for exploring the area and Valletta. The staff were wonderful, they even surprised us with a birthday cake.

No complaints. 24 hour supermarket a bonus. Great little place.

A boutique hotel with picnic breakfast delivered to our room each morning. The suite with the balcony was very comfortable with a little kitchen which allowed us to cook dinner for ourselves. Friendly staff. Location just outside the tourist area but a short 5-10 minute walk gets to the water and outdoor restaurants.

Lovely hotel. Had all the necessary facilities and close to all the amenities.

Every thing was very good

Excellent all round experience. Only issue was shower water pressure in my top floor suite, but I was assured this is something being addressed. Staff very friendly and helpful, contact via WhatsApp prompt.

I really enjoyed this accommodation. It’s relatively close to everything that we want to do, a smart friendly environment, and clean. Laura is awesome! She promptly replied to all my email even at one occasion when it was late at night. She also provided us information about tours and gave us directions how to get around the city by bus. Excellent stay overall!

This is the third time we went to this hotel and, once again, the experience was great.

Breakfast was not very good and room was not what I expected thought we would have a balcony and couch area but ended up with handicap room

I stayed for a week at the Mike hotel recently and chose it as friends were staying nearby. I was a bit apprehensive about the location when I first booked it however it turned out to be a fantastic place to spend a week as the grand harbour is just five minutes walk from the hotel and has shops, restaurants, bars and cafes, plus there is a bus stop nearby. There is a convenience store just up the road which is open late and has all of the essentials you need. It's also a short walk from the hotel to the Valetta ferry which we used a couple of times. We stayed in Suite 10 which has a terrace and separate living area and it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the bed and how quiet the area is at night hence we slept very well during our stay. The bathroom with it's rainforest shower was wonderful. Breakfast was served to the room each day and it was delicious and a great start to the day. The staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay; thank you for the tip to visit Mdina - it was a beautiful place. We used the buses to travel around Malta and it was easy to navigate our way around from here via Google Maps. Seeing other parts of Malta made us appreciate the location of this hotel even more as the island is quite busy and crowded but this area is quiet and peaceful. The hotel is in a residential area and some of the streets and buildings look dirty and run down, however upon travelling around the island we discovered that this is normal for Malta.

The warm , friendly and helpful nature of the staff.Very cosy and comfortable. Had one of the best stays there. Thank you 😊
