We enjoyed our stay. The hotel manager owner did everything possible to make sure we had a great stay.. Thanks. A budget hotel. We'll placed to grand Port for shopping a restaurants. And not to far from blue Bay if u want a beautiful beach. A pleasant stay. Rob. UK.

We had a very pleasant night cap on our balcony overlooking the ocean with a full moon.
Otherwise it reminded me of backpacking through Africa and Asia in the mid-seventies.
Mahebourg is good for its proximaty to the airport.

The owner is greedy for money , no cleaning for 3 days I stay, bed was dirty , bed shirt had blood , , I ask for water, , he told me there are a a place in the airport, why I didn’t drink water or anything before I come , no one allowed to come to meet me ,he changed me 500 rupees because someone came to deliver water in my room ,

It is quite a good value place to stay.
The room was quite large and good.
The breakfast wasn't much.
I wanted to leave some items at the guest house because i went off for a few days, but they refused to put them in a secure place so forced me to pay for 2 nights extra to keep the items in my room.

It's not fancy and the decor is painfully in need of an update, but for around $25 USD I was not at all uncomfortable. The view from the balconies is lovely, as is the breeze of the water in the evening. It's an easy walk to the few restaurants in town.
Reception made arrangements for a taxi to take me to the airport in the middle of the night and all went exactly as planned. You can't ask for more than that for this very low price.

Very dissappointed, the hotel is advertised as a 3*, unfortunatly, it was not even a standaed of a 1*, we had breakfast included, and all we got was a very large crusted bread roll, crawling with ants, a raw banana, a small yougurt, a small carton of mango juice and coffee, with ants crawling all inside the sugar bowl. The hotel room is in need of a setious upgrade, the wardrobes in the room had doors hanging off, the tap in the sink was leaking, the shower had to have the geazer switched on and the water barely dripped out of the shower head. However, the only positive was that the location is very good indeed.i think hotel.com should check before advtise as 3 star

Don't expect a five star hotel but you're not paying that price. This is a VERY friendly hotel in a superb location which, although all the facilities are there, would benefit from a refurbishment. The owner was very friendly and let us check in early. He also stored our bags and let us use his shower for a very late check out. The location is excellent and breakfast was good. Recommended for short stay, especially when flying back as it is a short taxi drive to the airport.

Everything is close and mr Pervez is very helpful he explains you everything you need to know and the view is fantastic we got the sea view very beautiful the bed is confatable all restaurant are near i would definitely recommend and i myself will come back hear
