Budget place to stay, no proper AC and ventilation, no good air inside the room

Friendly staff free drink at arrival good breakfast but WiFi horrible in the room. If you need to work or upload Pictures use the WiFi in the reception lobby it is stronger!

Very friendly staff room spacious free ice tea at check in very good cocktails. I would definitely come back. The WiFi in the room is very very weak ,go to the reception lobby to get a good signal

Wifi was pathetic - no wifi in rooms and even at common places, it wasn't strong and stable. Quality of food was average. Staff is very polite and helpful though.

Le Grand Bleu is well located at walking distance between the beaches of Mont Choisi and Trou au Biches. Unfortunately, rooms and especially bathrooms are pretty old and the swimming pools are not very clean. Staff is quite nice though.

The counter staff was very warm in welcoming and the restaurant staff was courteous too. They ensured I got the things I wanted with some little extra effort. The beach is across the road and small shops for souvenirs, basic groceries(if u require any), a money changer, restaurants are a hop away. They arranged for a driver to take me around and he was very resourceful. Value for money!!

I was very disappointing with the hotel, the facilities were not great but the staff were excellent. I had a few bad experience with the hotel, a number of issues and had to change my room. The staff were very good to try to put things right. They did try and most were very good, many to mention, but one in particular, Ashna who works in the Restaurent, was excellent and the little man from Nepal, very pleasant. Stessy from the Spa team was pleasant. I feel the staff are five stars in a two stars hotel, well the staff , almost, there's always one, there was a very rude one from the reception, clearly in the wrong job, think her name's Tina, but the rest are awesome

Friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast. Just one road to cross between the hotel and te sandy beach. About 10 minute walk to the public beach. I would stay there again.

Staff was friendly especially the restaurant. I had a smoking room which often seems to result in less than stellar accommodations. A few disagreements with a 3+ star rating: TV - only a few channels and not working on arrival. Water flow insufficient (shower) for half a day and then fluctuating between hot/cool, toilet not flushing for half a day. Staff attended to problems. I have had far better accommodations around the World for the same price but have nothing to compare with on Mauritius.

The room and bed are quite old. shower is with mold, can be cleaner. But super friendly staff and good food offers.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Wonderfull location few hundred metres from the beach and central Grand Baie. Nice breakfast of rolls omelets made after the request and expresso coffee available for a few euros. Would definitely stay again. A disadvantage - WiFi interent connection doesn´t work on some rooms and isn´t strong.

Spiaggia inesistente, albergo che da fuori sembra carino,...ma dentro é vecchio, mal arredato, poco pulito, con bagno da terzo mondo. clientela quasi totalmente indiana molto molto molto rumorosa. Mai più.

je ne reviendrais plus à cet hôtel. piscine les occupants se baigne avec leurs habilles ces un manque d'hygiène.

Le personnel est serviable et sympathique ; Vraiment c'est le point fort de cet hôtel ! Par contre il faudrait refaire l'hôtel car carrelage usé voir multi-fendu dans la salle de bains ; Sur les lampes murale il manque le cache, l'ampoule est à nue ! Le placard de la chambre était beaucoup trop petit pour un homme seul alors, pour un couple !

Odeur de moisissure dans la chambre, piscine hors service, début de service du restaurant à 12h30, très bon accueil.

Quite a shabby hotel. Looks nicer in the pictures!! Staff are friendly and helpful though. 2 small pools, not very nice. The beach across the street is awful, but there is a nice one about 100 m left of it.

A signaler la sympathie et le trés bon accueil qui est réservé aux clients. Nous avions reservé une grande chambre familliale. Grande spacieuse, propre, mais proche de la route, juste au dessus de la réception, donc trés bruyante... Nous demandons donc à changer de chambre. Chose faite sans aucun souci dés le lendemain, on a même pu choisir parmi les chambres disponibles. Nous avons opté pour une chambre rez de jardin coté petite piscine. La salle de bain y est humide, c'est la seule chose à signaler, le reste du séjour s'est trés bien passé. Personnel attentif, convivial. Cuisine trés correcte. Nous séjournions en même temps que deux groupes d'hindous. Choc des cultures. Trés sympa à vivre,Ce qu'il faut savoir, l'hotel est en bord de route relativement passante, ça circule beaucoup moins le soir. Côté plage : à gauche à deux minutes à pied c'est trou aux biches, à droite à 15 min à pied par le bord de plage c'est Mont Choisy. Emplacement idéal il suffit de traverser la route et de choisir sa plage. Le taxi de l'hotel est trés gentil, et a des tarifs trés correct. De nôtre côté nous nous sommes déplacés quasi exclusivement en Bus, l'arrêt de bus est à 50m de l'hôtel. En résumé, un trés bon hôtel si l'on veut séjourner à Maurice pour pas cher et disposer malgré tout de tous les charmes de l'île. Vous n'aurez pas le même confort qu'un 5 étoiles mais vous paierez beaucoup beaucoup moins cher.
