City Express by Marriott Ensenada

I had a good experience. Nice location, quiet, excellent staff, good breakfast and the check out time it's awesome.

I am beyond disappointed with the experience my family had at City Express on May 24, 2026. We have stayed here before and while the parking situation has always been difficult, the hotel staff and overall service usually made up for it. Unfortunately, today completely changed our opinion. My father is currently dealing with a medical issue, and we have been urgently going back and forth between pharmacies and the hotel. When we returned, there was no parking available, which we understand can happen. What was absolutely unacceptable was the valet attendant’s attitude and behavior toward my family during an already stressful situation. Instead of showing even basic compassion or professionalism, he spoke to us in a rude, dismissive, and belittling tone while my father attempted to explain the urgency of the situation. We were essentially told we would wait “however long it takes,” with zero concern for my father’s health or the circumstances we were dealing with. His tone and attitude were completely inappropriate. What made the situation even worse was after I went to speak with the front desk who, thankfully, were kind and professional the valet attendant stood nearby smirking, staring at me, and walking past repeatedly in an intentionally disrespectful manner. It felt arrogant, confrontational, and completely unprofessional. One employee’s behavior completely ruined what had otherwise been positive experiences at this hotel. The parking in parking garage is unnatended and when trying to exit the gate is closed causing a big problem when trying to get out overall good place to stay.

Yes, i t was very good

Hotel decor is contemporary, room was clean and spacious for a King Supreme, included the bed and a separate area w/ a fold down sofa, microwave, mini fridge, and a lot of space to get ready or just be. Staff was courteous and friendly. Only negative was the included continental breakfast. Taking into account is was the start of Spring Break and there being a lot of guests, the breakfast area was full, I waited for about 5 minutes for the main dishes to be replenished and nothing. I had to make due w/ a piece of bread w/ a slice of ham and cheese, albeit, very fresh.

The place is the worst I’ve been. It was dirty and smelly. The bed was hard and the towels were nasty. The breakfast was disgusting. Marriott could do better

Low water pressure and no hot water. Plus a strong smell. Uncomfortable pillows. Low grad flooring on hallways. This is a budget quality hotel at best.
