El Cid La Ceiba Beach All Inclusive

We have stayed at this resort three times now. We love it!

Jose from the bar had a smile at all times, Noemi, and the two Victors from the wait staff. Rodibel from room cleaning. But the most of all Angela from the from desk was the best always helping my family. The property is the best.

The employees are so helpful. Armando and Ari are the best. Roger did a good job with activities. The people at the front desk were all helpful although I did not get their names. Restaurant servers were very helpful and friendly as well. Becky and Viktor are very good.

The hotel was fine.

Over the last 6 years we've stayed at El Cid several times. We loved the property's close proximity to Cozumel city center, restaurants and shopping. We loved the boutique feel, the service, the resort cleanliness, watching the cruise ships come and go. While it doesn't have a great beach the water is nice and the snorkeling is okay. Our last two trips in the last year have been full of loud construction, out of order elevators, more day pass cruisers (some loud and obnoxious) taking up the few shaded beach chairs and eliminating the quiet charm of the small oasis. Service has definitely gone down hill and this last trip it was even hard to secure a beach towel! (Seems slight but when you don't have a beach towel to dry with and lay on it is inconvenient. Guest rooms are clean and they all face the ocean. A few days of our trip we vacated our room for maid service then had to ask to have our room cleaned. We love CZM but our next trip we may venture out and try to find a new go-to for our relaxing retreat as this last trip with all the construction and sharing the small beach with the cruisers wasn't very relaxing. Sadly it seems as if this property has been bought out by corporate.

Way Better than we expected for the price. Room was spacious with large bathroom and comfortable bed , balcony was adequate for the two of us with a nice view. Best food we’ve ever eaten in an all inclusive, variety and quality. Drinks were what we expected for all inclusive. Service was okay, not bad service but not excellent. Communication was the issue. We speak no Spanish and their English wasn’t great.

We love to stay at the El CID and we’ve stayed here many times. The place is kept very clean and the people are amazing! Things I really like: the snorkeling from shore, the cleanliness, the people, the walkability of the area, and the views from the rooms. Things I don’t particularly like: the humidity is so bad everything in our room felt wet all the time including the bed and the food is not the best. The bed is also not the most comfortable and if the other person moves a little the whole bed moves badly. However, we continue to return time after time for the great atmosphere at the el cid.

They upgraded me to a much nicer room than I had booked. That is how my stay started. And it just kept getting better. Atmosphere, staff, are very good.

Amazing

It was amazing experience, is a small resort but cozy, they were always making sure we were doing well.they are on it,cleaning and making sure everything was well. The food is great.

We love El Cid La Ceiba, primarily because the food is better than any other place we have stayed in Cozumel. Mind you, we do the all inclusive that allows us to order from the menu, in addition to the buffet. Sometimes the buffet is not that appealing, and the food from the menu has failed to disappoint us. The rest of the facilities are ok, but nothing special. If you are looking for luxury, this place isn't it. But it is real good. Don't have any issues with it.

Great service, food and drinks with the all inclusive plan. Great place for a family stay.

Not crowded even when cruis ships arrived

Everything was fantastic! We had the best time celebrating our engagement. All the staff members are so welcoming and accommodating. The room was perfect, amazing view and delicious food. Cannot wait to come back soon!

We have stayed here several times and love this resort! It’s small, clean, and has a beautiful view!! The service is usually amazing but on the last day it was terrible! We sat on the beach and not one person came to offer us drinks or food! For over 5 hours….this is not the norm for them and we were shocked!

Great service. Only one restaurant, but a good menu variety.
